I decided to take a stab at updating the fur-parts of the Blanket Scarf mod as well as the textiles, and I think these 3 I've done so far has turned out really great. I am currently playing around with a wolf-version, as well as tweaking one of the "bear fur" (upper right) into both a light-brown version, and a polar-bear version.
Some of these textures can do double or triple duty by coloring in Nifskope (as illustrated by the light and dark sheep-skin in the above picture).
I am currently working with the female version, that had a lot of clipping in the initial release. So, I'm making adjustments by hand that fits the blankets (both fur and fabric) to fit over the biggest female size of most vanilla clothing (pictured is farmclothes02, but most female cloth-silhouettes are fairly similar). Obviously, there is going to be clipping when using armor, but as long as they don't clip too much with vanilla clothing, I'm happy.
I've decided to have a one-size-fits-all for each gender, since it doesn't make too much of a difference with scaling for each size-extreme, and I'll be saving a lot of space with going with just one size-model (modeled after the _1 size, of course).
If you know of a free, high-resolution tiger-fur pattern, let me know. The leopard print looks really great in-game, but I'd like to also include a tiger (and a wolf). If I can't find one, I might try to do an elk/moose/deer skin, though it might look a little odd, since that kind of fur is fairly thin.
I am on a less-than-1080p monitor right now (1440 x 900), so the screenshots look a little crummy. But they should look pretty nice in a higher resolution, since the textures I'm working with are pseudo "4k".
