...and the amazement never ends with your sets, does it, DV? Truly incredible images as well as artistery! A part of me wants to stuff the whole set in the final compilation, only for the matter of showing people how it's done! Can't have me doing that though, so two pics - could be any two really - and a link will have to do it. Hopefully some follow up on that and takes inspiration from you. I know I have, even if I try to keep my own style intact as well...

Oh, and about that! Sorry for using letterboxes all the time nowadays! I admit, it's thanks to you, but to my defense I have nearly 20.000 screens taken without them, so I guess it's alright after all...

A blessing having you onboard again!

Thanks Rick- you always leave the kindest comments. Final set looks ace- I'm so glad this event series has been ever growing in popularity. At this point I can't imagine your style without the letterboxes. Maybe that means it's time for a change, but I think the black frames look really nice- on the Nexus image rolls at least. I started cropping mine out largely in response to the way they look in a single-image gallery like Flickr. Xorp brought up a really good point about how the borders help differentiate individual images in a scroll. Recently I've been experimenting with thin white or off-white borders around square format images over on the Flickr side, and I rather like the way that effect looks. Always room to grow, change, shake things up!

Those are some really neat shots DV. Although I kinda miss the black boarders. Without them my eyes just don't know what to focus on..... so much different beauties on the screen

Thanks X-man! That's a good point about the utility of the black borders as image spacers. I did rather like the way that without the borders the juxtapositions between color schemes becomes stronger, but I agree that the overall effect begins to turn into something of a technicolor hash.

There are such a great variety of pics here, too many to choose a favorite...except....I really like the soft image silhouette of the butterfly. But then I also really liked the hard outline of the main shot (my first thought, until I saw the hair was "It's Solas!" from DAI) and the silhouettes caused by foreground imaging in the last shot....so, yeah. Couldn't pick just one fave.

What a wonderful contribution to the theme!

Thanks Judy! Good ol' Baldy McSlightlyApproves- I always had a soft spot for that wee curmudgeon, even if he turned out to be the literal big-bad wolf. Curious to see what the storytellers are going to do with him next. Hopefully give him something resembling a for-real-real narrative arc.

The clouds nearly at the end!
William Turner or Gerhard Richter would have been glad to paint them.

    What a collection.

Dang, high praise indeed! I wonder how many of this generation's creative masters have had their talents channeled and effectively neutralized by the distractions of the screen. In another age, would those kids getting ambitiously weird in Minecraft have been the sorts to invent windmills and paint Sistene Chapels and mastermind Aba Women's Wars?

      Thank you - I think.
If you want me to understand it would be nice if you could use easier words. Even Google translate could not help me with that. My english is so poor! But nevertheless thanks for taking time to say a few words.
