      It was a good event! I think the compilation shows off the great contributions. I am thinking of another event starting in mid January.

    I've missed a lot during December, so I was really looking forward to this compilation to better "catch up" with the great work of others. I truly liked the theme immediately once it was released and I can tell by this collection, people really enjoyed it as well. Hauntingly beautiful images! Superb work everyone!

    A special thanks to you AJ - of course - for letting this theme shine through the dark of December! My break was much needed, but now I'm ready to play the role as the curator and host again. I might even have the next theme posted sooner than you think. Please feel free to bring us more independent themes, if you have the time and possibility. As much as I like hosting them, it's a great deal of fun being on the side of contributions as well. It challenges my own imagination instead of just following my own ideas. It even got me started playing Fallout 4 quite a lot when DV brought the theme event to the postapocalyptic future.

    In any case, a heartfelt thank you and a Happy New Year to you!
