Haven't gone very far in it yet but Glenmoril is intriguing even if it's still in alpha.

It's made by Vicn who also made Vigilant.

I would also recommend the amateur translation by Aelarr. It's not perfect but she also did the translation for Vigilant which should speak wonders for her credibility.

It's a ways away from being done, but I can assure you that development for it is on-going (proabably).

But as a rule of thumb, just be sure to keep a clean save. My experience has been very stable so far though.
