I truly enjoyed this one, both for the incredible atmosphere, the rich darkness, the underground heat and the fact you actually did a Dwarf character. You're the only one depicting a classic fantasy dwarf of all the contributions and I highly appreciate it. I understand if people don't want to run around making dwarf characters for my theme only, but as I said in my introduction, I miss them in Skyrim even if the Dwemer culture is fascinating too. I grew up with the dwarves from classic tabletop roleplaying games though and the lore of Tolkien, so yeah, they're as important in my worldspace as the elves.
Tungdil looks awesome too! I've tried a couple of Dwarf race mods over time, but in the end, I simply decided to make my dwarf characters out of the ordinary Nord race, only I use heights between 0.84 - 0.92 - depending on the size of the mentioned dwarf. I'd love to make them look more robust, heavy set and strong though, but I'll have to do with what I can perform...
Of all the sets today - I've been working with the compilation - yours have given me the most thinking. There are so many exceptional shots in this set. In the end, I sadly had to leave Tungdil out of the final compilation, but I still wanted to let you know, I very much appreciate his appearance, so tons of kudos to you for letting us meet him. The drinking contest with him is just wonderful and I'm happy to read you intend to include him in the future too!
This great theme came at just the right time. Because soon our new Dungeon Master of our small Dungeons & Dragons group will start a new story in which I also play a dwarf. I start this dwarf as a cleric, or rather as a supporter of the group. But since we are not allowed to plan our characters up to level 20 *** because our new Dungeon Master has something special in mind with our characters, I am excited to see in which direction the life story of this character will go.
(*** What we usually do because the dungeon master has to build in specific locations that a character has to visit to advance in certain prestige classes. Be it a magician guild, a certain rogue guild or something similar.)
The name Tungdil comes from a dwarf hero from Markus Heitz's dwarf saga, which I can highly recommend.
I also chose the Nord race for the creation of Tungdil, because of all the races it best fits a dwarf.
But it was still a little difficult to recreate the appropriate body properties of a dwarf with RaceMenu. Above all, the often mentioned beer belly, or the stocky and wide feet were a little challenge.
Do not worry that you did not include Tungdil in the compilation, because I think he will be seen here more often as he sweeps through Skyrim in a typical rough and strong-headed dwarf manner.
I am glad that you like Tungdil and that you enjoyed the bonus at the end of the set!
Great set for the 23rd theme.
I am glad to hear that with Tungdil I have succeeded in creating a real dwarf, as one could imagine!
When creating Tungdil, I used the guidelines from the Dungeons and Dragons - Player Handbook 3.5.
Especially when it came to the approximate size and physique.
The outfit comes from this Mod: Colorful Magic -Darkside Edition-.
Nice work!
I added the red glowing Dwarven Colossus to my loadorder shortly before I started taking these pictures. So I was a little surprised to see him down there in the Blackreach. And I was even more surprised at how quickly he grilled the falmer. All the fun was over in a few seconds, and then.... this THING decided to classify me as hostile.
The dwarves are known to endure a lot of alcohol!
But poor Sam couldn't know about that, since he hadn't previously invited a dwarf to this drinking competition.
Well.... I think he knows now!
I am glad that you like the pictures and Tungdil!
