   They sure made quite the interesting pair from the start and now its hard to imagine them not being together. Sofie just became the light in his darkness and in a way saved him from himself because who knows which dark path he was walking before they met.

   Nelthas' story is very sad... I am so glad he found Sofie and that they are both happy with each other!

   I remember this quote of John Clare in Penny Dreadful, the Creature of Frankenstein, everytime I see Nelthas and Sofie. The painful and difficult life as an assassin and slave made Nelt a very hard man and he built so many walls to protect himself from the feelings. Sofie is like a light that put all these walls down and light all the darkness and shadows where Nelt hides.

      Thank you very much for your encouraging words and lovely feedback! This is great quote and I think I will definitely look to see Penny Dreadful series. Nelthas is indeed put such great walls around his heart but Sofie's light has shone through them and touched his heart.

      I think you will like is my favorite tv series and a true masterpiece in sensitive and poetic quotes and feelings. I think you might like Outlander too, is a great lovestory!

   Another wonderful couple, albeit one that has a very different relationship than that of Dannee and Sam. I really have grown to enjoy these two and how they interact. A great post for Hearts Day, Nataly!
