D&D Campaign - World of Urun - Somewhere near the mountains and forests of Darfen
Wolfrimdark is not only a boon to the website, but to all of his friends here as well. He is generous, kind, immensely talented, and selfless. Through his mods, imagery, and stories, he has done much to help and inspire so many people here. A few years ago around this time, he wrote a comment on one of my "Halloween-themed" images, it simply said: "Happy Howldays". This memorable comment gave me a chuckle while simultaneously brightening my day. So, in return, I say to you, Wolfgrimdark: "Happy Howldays, right back at you, my friend!"
** This YouTube video is absolutely crucial to the overall mood of the post! I strongly encourage you to play this "Halloween-themed" video!! Listen carefully, my friends, and you will hear Noreth Vadu summoning her brethren. She is definitely stirring up trouble near and around the town of Darfen. What kind of trouble? Read below to find out. YouTube Link: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=8wZDZPy9Llg **
Noreth Vadu, is a Blighter, otherwise known as a Dark Druid. Blighters are indeed a blight on the community and to nature itself. There are strong rumors that Noreth is not only a blighter, but also a werewolf as well. Below is a conversation between the Ranger Lord, Arundis, and the revered Master Arch-Mage and Grand Seer, Langwellan, The White Owl of the North.
Arundis: "You honor me by making time to give me council, Langwellan. I know you are an extremely busy man."
Langwellan: "Nonsense! I wanted to set my gaze squarely upon the legendary Ranger, Arundis, that I have been hearing about. Your reputation and accomplishments precede you, and I'm the one who is honored to have words with you."
Arundis: "As you may already know, I am from Kyberia. As I was recently away from my homeland, I received word by letter from my people in Kyberia. They speak of a menace ravaging a small town of its people, as well as a blight that is consuming all in its path in the nearby forest."
Langwellan: "I see..."
Arundis: "The small town of Darfen has lost most of its warriors trying to stop this menace, as well as this blight. However, their loss was not in vain. This very letter has also given me a crucial piece of information... a name."
Langwellan: 'Intriguing. What is this name of which you speak?"
Arundis: "The name is... Noreth Vadu."
Langwellan: "It has been a while since I heard of that name. But yes, I'm familiar with it. She is a dark druid of some power, an apprentice of the legendary Master Blighter, Thornin Blackbranch. More importantly, I know that she may not be totally human."
Arundis: "Are you implying that she is some kind of creature? That would explain a great many things that are written in this letter: The unnatural chill in the forest air, the shredded remains of fallen warriors, and the growing population of wolves that inhabit the forest!
The ranger paused for a moment, then continued speaking.
When I was a boy, I have heard horrific tales of legendary creatures such as the werewolf, but surely they do not exist. Am I correct? What say you, Langwellan? Could she actually be a werewolf?"
Considering the ranger's words, Langwellan's demeanor grew more serious. Then he replied.
Langwellan: "If one runs wild and free like a wolf, then chances are... she is a wolf."

Anyhow this was a great post with a wonderful theme. I would say Grim, who is a true-blood werewolf and a guardian of life, nature, and the innocent, would gladly go to battle against Noreth Vau - as he would see her as an abomination and corruption of nature. A blight if you would :)
I definitely agree with you about Grim being pretty much the complete opposite of Noreth, they definitely would clash!
