   Reading this made made me teary! Look at you, loving yourself first! I don't know you but my proud mama tears are real lmao thank you for sharing your art and your self. It's strange and powerful how bad experiences and toxic people can be transmuted into something beautiful. I quote this like every day, but Rumi once wrote: "The wound is where the light enters you." Our wounds don't define us, but they play a big part in revealing our true selves. The journey is painful, but the results are worth it.

      Wow, thank you You're so right, and it's so important that we try and learn as we pick up the pieces. I'm no saint in the above situation, to be sure. I wish I could have done things differently, but all I can do is own my mistakes, learn from them, and try to do better, while accepting that I can't change anyone else as much as they have to accept they can't change me.
