This is the second part of my story of Mirielle and Tuva. Please view the first part if you have not seen it yet:

    Weekends Are For Research

Edit: Sigh... I originally had an error in a name in this set.
Click spoiler ONLY after viewing the set to see my error!

    Spoiler:

By mistake, the creature I called a "wolven" is really a "wolfos". I have corrected this in the set for viewers after I realized my mistake. Haha, I may issue a public apology image set in a few days, to hold myself accountable. But until then, if you are interested, the wolven wolfos is a creature added by the fantastic mod: Relics of Hyrule - A DLC Scale Zelda Mod

    Sorry for any confusion!

    Great action with your girls.
The ice and fire effect on the troll comes out very well

Thanks, my friend! I am not sure if Dib saw this set, or if he was upset by what happened during it. But Skyrim is dangerous, as we all know.

So many times over the past few years, I have had images ruined by fire effects! So it was really nice to have them work for a change. For some reason, Tuva seems to be a natural at using fire effects that seem better than when other followers use it.

Thanks, my friend! Mirielle will be very happy. That is one amazing looking staff, but I can't wait to see it in game (or video ), because I know still images don't capture all the magic of your work. And speaking of magic... and enchanting... it is always a pleasure to see Lumithira. Please tell her that Mirielle, Alex, and I all say hello!

It was, and Mirielle and Tuva seem to like the climate up in Northern Skyrim. Of course, I say that in part because Mirielle is a Snow Elf, but I have no idea if they actually liked or were acclimated to the snow and cold. Oh well, they aren't complaining, unlike some others.

Nice short story.  That Wolven looks tough and hard to fight.  Also smiled at the interceding of Alex.  Must be good to have such a protector   Hope she got rewarded accordingly.

Thank you, my friend! See the spoiler in my sticky for a correction to an error I made.

Regarding Alex, yeah, she is the best! She hasn't been rewarded yet, but we always spend time together on Saturdays real life time. We will probably head to a relaxing spot tonight, maybe in GomaPero Land, since we already had plenty of adventures this past week. She likes the warmer locations, especially since she lives at the College at the moment when she is not with me.  And of course, any time I spend with Alex, anywhere, is just as rewarding to me as it will be for her.

    Wonderful wintry sequence, Chickster.
Clear that wolven is a badass super wolf.
I'm relieved to see Mirielle and Tuva arrive home safely.
That looks like a cool rocky entrance player home on the way to Saarthal.
Lovely rock and snow textures and the girls look great.
    Beautifully done dear friend.

Thank you, my friend, for your support and kind words. This return trip was way more dramatic than I thought it would be. Mirielle and Tuva are both strong, but 2 trolls, a wolven, and a couple of wolves all attacking at the same time was a bit more than I expected. I hope Dib won't be too upset with me... but I was documenting the trip back, and Skyrim happened.

When Mirielle and Tuva travel from the mine, where Mirielle and Tuva live with Rigani, the girls can use several different paths to Winterhold and back, depending on what draws their attention along the way. During testing to see if they would be able to negotiate their way to the college, sometimes they took a path that passes right by Saarthal. I think they may even have used one of the upper walkways for a minute.

On the wonderful wintry sequence... spoken like a true southerner! While I do know what you mean... for those of us up in the north, it won't be that long before it looks that way here. Snow looks nice and clean at first, but it becomes the enemy when you have to shovel it or drive through a blizzard. At least there aren't any Wolven wolfos living around here, although I did see a coyote running along the road a few days ago. That's a big enough wild critter for me.

Finally, if you are still awake... that mine entrance at the end was interesting to build. I started the mine before Laoshan99 and I even started Mavis. Rigani, the mine owner, was supposed to be the first follower I did with another modder, but that project never got finished - and neither did the mine. That's why I don't show Rigani, because she was the main contribution from the other modder and I don't have permission to show her. (I doubt the modder would care, but it is a respect issue for me). Anway, the point is that I didn't really know what I was doing, so I just put the mine entrance where I thought it looked cool in what I thought would be an out of the way location, and then built up the rocks to provide access to the entrance.

But what I didn't know... was that there is an exterior cell border right outside and perpendicular to the doors. I know now, that if you want to keep things simple and clean with exterior NavMesh, you really want to try to not cross cell borders if you can avoid it! Oh well, you live and learn. For a long time, followers had a very tough time getting into and out of the mine. When I started this last project with Mirielle and Tuva using the entrance on their own, I had to add some more rocks to make it easier for them, and renavmesh that part one more time so they wouldn't get stuck or teleport to the snow. But it all works good now.

Hahaha, is that snoring I hear? That's cool if true. Some might find this geeky stuff boring, but I find it fascinating.

Thanks! I thought about you several times while putting it together today, as that goofy collections banner kept showing up - I saw your post on that earlier. I'm with you, I ain't interested in that either!

PS. I don't comment as much as I would like, because I don't get any notifications. But while I have your attention, I also saw your Dark Saturday post... good and creepy, just like it ought to be.

LOL yes that banner, I worked out, is not a special invite, its a generic banner that Everyone got the pleasure of reading ha ha!!
It seems that no one is putting their hand up to "volunteer" so Nexus put up a whack banner ha ha ha lol ah ha!!!!

(ps glad you enjoyed the DS set!!)

Thank you! I do tend to get carried away with my game, and some/most of my image sets. Always nice to hear that it is noticed and enjoyed.

By the way, I don't know if you also viewed the first set (linked above in the sticky), but something from your work is in the last image of that set. It is with a retexture of mine that I did so I can have multiple colors in my game, but it is 99% your work. Haha, with well over 350 girls in my game, they demand some variety in what they are all wearing.

Thanks for writing that without giving anything away. And on your recent sets... yeah - my "Edit 2" comment on part 1 was me figuring things out... but I wasn't really positive until part 3. Glad that "Edit 2" comment gave you a little laugh. Those sets were so much fun, and while the suspense was killing me a bit waiting, having 3 Cassie sets back to back was awesome!

really enjoying these episodes of weekend research.  bet those bandits could not wait to count your coins  LOL    your game and imagination isn't lacking.
come to think about it i haven't seen any nasty green eyed nasty trolls lately so thank you for your extermination business LOL
very nice dedication to a lovely character and cool creator.
haven't experienced that lock up in browser in a long time, very frustrating when it happens.  also never thought about copying to notepad.  interesting solution, thank you again
oh yeah and if Alex wants to do something you'd best be letting her  LOL

Thanks, my friend! I was thinking about your experiences when I wrote that comment about there always being another troll - I almost added "RT" to that comment. And you are welcome for our extermination services... but I have a feeling you just jinxed yourself.

On the notepad thing, I often do that when doing things for Nexus, because sometimes when I hit the send, save, or preview button, Nexus is down or cloudflare (or whatever it is) screws up, and you can lose whatever you were doing. And I also not only use notepad as a temp save in the window itself... when doing anything large on Nexus... I make sure I save that notepad session to my SSD, just in case of a power outage.

As for Alex, you know me... what true treasure wants, true treasure gets. And while I have a lot of treasure in my game, Alex is the most valuable of all. Haha, not gonna try to install that Fallout 4 mod into my Skyrim game, even for her. But we will have some fun tomorrow, like we do every weekend.

Now... if people are paying attention, they might say... Wait a second! You said Alex lives at the College at the start of your game, and still does. You only recently started the College quest line, and before that the gates are locked until you start it. So... how exactly have you been meeting up with Alex each weekend, since you started your playthrough at the start of the year? Hahaha, I may have told you, RT - I am not sure about that. But trust me... Alex and I always find our way around rules, regulations, restrictions, and time and space itself for that matter. But anyway... that's another story for another day.

PS. Temps here were down in the 30's again this morning when I woke up (that's a few degrees abouve 0 C for those outside the US), but we haven't hit freezing yet. Haha, I might have to start wearing my jean jacket soon when I go out!
