Glaciers and icebergs always had one of the worst LOD transitions in the game, it always bothered me. Even with matched LOD textures they had horrible UVs and a completely different texture layout compared to the full model. This attempts to be the middle ground between performance impact and seamless LOD blending and transitions. The LOD meshes are built from the full model and were decimated while preserving the UVs. This means they work with all glacier retextures without the need for custom LOD textures.
