Thanks for the feedback, folks - much appreciated! And many thanks for the info on the HUD. It's amazing how many different atmospheric moods Skyrim can create - this dark one is really chilly and foreboding, but also wild and fresh.
Btw just for anybody curious how it came to happen: It's been done using Sharpshooter's ENB Mod (v1.0, including Realistic Lighting), but replacing his enbeffect.fx with the enbeffect.fx from Next Gen v1.8 ENB Mod (highest intensity tone map). Remove Ambient Intererior Fog Mod (irrelevant here) and Revamped Exterior Fog Mod are also used.Use Indirect Lighting is set to true in enbseries.ini. Using d3d9,dll v.109 by Boris, latetst version. All vanila ingame settings, including shadows, to max.

@ solsikke; thanks for the link , I think I reply too much to in this section instead of actually playing the game lately or checking out mods ">
(Or you can use this: iHud. There are probably others as well. Though "tm" is good as well).
(In case you didn't know, you can type "tm" in the console to get rid of the hud while taking screenshots)
