As Rick already said the colour palette is interesting. Though with all the fire in the background Gelal is B/W.
This way he comes out even more grim
Yes, this hero is really very grim! Although he is a scientist in my role-playing game and gravitates toward all sorts of secrets, his nature is the same as that of his relatives! He is hard-hearted, domineering, and is not averse to once again demonstrating his strength by destroying mortal settlements or a warring clan. Pride and show of force before his lord Molag Bal. I'll add a bio for Gelal in a little while. Most likely right after Svart Ormr. And then I'll start uploading stories little by little.
I am very glad that you liked this DS set! Its atmosphere is truly very grim!
Although... If I could go back in time, I would now make a number of changes/technical fixes and more emphasis on detailed burned corpses. I forgot to enable Sharpen in ENB while taking these shots, which is why some of the textures don't seem to be as sharp as they should be. Haha... There will be a reason to repeat this concept again!
That said though, my favorite is actually the chain capture. So very simple in itself, but the glittering effects of the silver makes it look alive, like something swiping out from the eternal darkness to grapple you and pull you in!
Continuing the wanderings of this hero through the locations from Shard of Oblivion, I decided at the same time to create something dark and conceptual for the DS event (moreover, I have recently contributed very little to the event)
Imagine the scene as if it was Gelal who destroyed this settlement, burned everything there. After all, it's not just that this hero bears the title of Valkynaz!
"That said though, my favorite is actually the chain capture" (c) A very interesting choice of favorite! Sometimes minimalism really draws attention to itself the most. Of course, I have never been his supporter, both in virtual photography and in real. I always want to put more objects into the frame to create the effect of something complex that would be interesting to consider... But some things do turn out to be interesting, like this chain or, let's say, this simple shot of a vase with a flower.
