Seeing the injured, pitiful creature on the wet ground before you, you can’t bring yourself to strike it down. You try to shake it off, thinking of the people she had just butchered, and you raise your weapon again. You stare at her pleading orange eyes, the tears streaming down her face as she holds her stomach in pain. You lower your weapon, and your head. You tell it to go, to run. It coughs as it stands and starts limping away from you, its wings dragging on the stone pavement behind it. It exits the under tunnel into the rain. As you stand at the end of the tunnel, a lighting flash shows the creature standing just at the exit, looking back at you. Just then, two arrows embed themselves into the wall beside her, she quickly looks to her left. You make your way to the exit as she flees. You think she is moving towards the college, and you follow that direction. As you climb the short steps and run to the college balcony overlooking the edge of the city, you see what you think is the woman-thing, standing at the end of the balcony. You run to her, but she has jumped over the edge. You lean over and stare down to the water below, but you see nothing, nothing but a faint blue light, now disappearing. You regret lifting your sword to this entire affair, and you turn your back to the edge. Sheathing your sword, you head to the Solitude barracks, to tell them of the massacre.

Your journey ends here, but you will always wonder, just who was that woman?
