About this mod
Your Soul Is Mine is like Dragon Soul Relinquishment for regular souls. It adds two spells: one that allows the player to absorb soul gems to purchase various passive bonuses and one that allows the player to absorb part of the victim's soul directly. The absorbed souls may be spent on various passive buffs.

FEATURES:
- Two new spells: Absorb Souls and Soul Drain
- Relinquish filled soul gems for SP (Soul Points)
- Spend SP in the Soul Menu page of the MCM for permanent passive buffs
- Lots of customization options so you can balance your own game
SPELLS:
- Absorb Souls: Consumes all soul gems in the player's inventory that are filled to their maximum capacities and gives SP based on the quantity and type of souls. The amount of SP scales with the caster's enchanting level.
- Soul Drain: Concentration spell that damages health and stamina. On death, a portion of the victim's soul is absorbed by the caster as SP. Only works on soul-trappable targets.
WHAT CAN YOU BUY WITH SP?
As of the current version, you can increase the following by spending SP in the Soul Menu:
- Health
- Magicka
- Stamina
- Carry Weight
- Magicka Regeneration
- Stamina Regeneration
- Alteration Duration
- Conjuration Duration
- Destruction Magnitude
- Illusion Magnitude
- Restoration Magnitude
- Maximum Number of Summoned/Reanimated Minions (up to 99 extra summons)
- Maximum Number of Runes (up to 100x as many runes)
- Perk Points
CUSTOMIZATION:
This mod features extensive customization options:
- Adjust the cost and magnitude of each Soul Menu upgrade
- Set upper limits on Soul Menu upgrades
- Set cost increases per upgrade to allow for diminishing returns on SP investment or set the cost increases to 0 for fixed costs!
- Turn grouped cost scaling on/off: when on, purchasing ANY upgrade increases the cost of all other upgrades; when off, purchasing an upgrade only increases the cost of that upgrade
- Adjust the amount of Enchanting experience given by using Absorb Souls and Soul Drain
WHERE ARE THE SPELLS?
To encourage exploration, the spell tomes have been hand-placed in various locations throughout Skyrim. They're mainly in locations where powerful conjurers or shady, magically-inclined people reside.
Absorb Souls Locations:
- Falion's House, on the table (steal)
- Ilinalta's Deluge, near Malyn's body
- Wolfskull Ruins, near the end chest
Soul Drain Locations:
- Dark Brotherhood Sanctuary, on a shelf close to the entrance
- Hall of Attainment, under Enthir's Bed (steal)
- Ilinalta's Refuge, near Malyn's body
- Nightcaller Temple, near the entrance
- Wolfskull Ruins, near the end chest
HOW DOES THIS MOD AFFECT AZURA'S STAR/THE BLACK STAR?
This mod does nothing to Azura's Star or the Black Star. Absorb Souls only affects Petty, Lesser, Common, Greater, Grand, and Black Soul Gems.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Unofficial Skyrim Legendary Edition Patch - Without the patch, Absorb Souls only works on pre-filled gems. It needs the patch to work on user-filled gems.
- SkyUI/SKSE since the Soul Menu is in the MCM
COMPATIBILITY:
This mod should be compatible with almost anything since it does not touch any vanilla scripts, perks, spells, leveled lists, etc. If you're using ASIS, exclude this mod when using the ASIS patcher. Additional summons are given using a custom perk and will stack with additional summons given by other mods, as long as the other mod isn't setting the number of summons to a fixed number. For example, the additional summons in Ordinator stack with the ones here. The additional runes stack multiplicatively.
RECOMMENDED MODS:
- A mod that addresses the underfilled soul gem problem, e.g. Acquisitive Soul Gems Multithreaded or GIST - Genuinely Intelligent Soul Trap since Absorb Souls does not currently absorb underfilled gems.
