This Mod adds smithing recipes based on two new perks. This gives the player the ability to craft weapons and armor that has elemental enchants. Weapons do elemental damage, armor add elemental resistance.
This is the first beta release. It contains new recipes for enchanted versions of every craftable weapon and almost every craftable armor. The Perks required to craft those items, namely "Arcane Weaponsmith" and "Arcane Armorforger", are aquired by reading the books "Arcane Smithing, Vol.1" and "Arcane Smithing Vol.2". In this release you can find them on a workbench next to a Forge I placed near Rorikstead. Or you add them via console. The requirement to get the perks is a Smithing skill of level 75 and the "Arcane Blacksmith" perk.
This release is mainly to get feedback on balance. Are the enchants too strong/weak? Are the recipes ok? Would you like to see more/less enchants?
The next Beta release will then incorporate changes based upon the feedback I get.
Planned for final release: The final release will feature a Quest to obtain the books. Starting point will be the new Forge I'm adding to Rorikstead. I'll also add a retexture for "Salts Induced Ingots".
