I had this problem with skyrim a long time that when you choosed your race depending on the class you want.
U don't have any gears to start with.
For example thief class characters there is no enchanted clothe with sneaking and stuff for them.
or u can't even get some gold to start your journey with.
That's exactly what this mod does.
It adds a dungeon near the guardian stones that u can go in and go to your class's room and get some gears.
That's the whole mod.
