Hello and Welcome to Whiterun's Trade Center!

Simplified Description:

With this mod you'll be able to make a pretty good coin, or lose it quite quickly without the need of travelling too many times or even abusing the "Merchant Reset" bug -or whatever its called-. The mod aims to provide such means in a little bit lore-friendly way -more onto that below-. The mod features new Merchants in their new building along with their personal Bodyguards.

The mod has two versions:

  • Extra: Everything is increased compared to your average merchant, Alot more Crafting Materials so that you don't need to ping-pong all over the map for your ingredients. as well as a pool of over 50,000 Septims, this way you do not need to abuse any bug or, again, ping-pong all over the map like a mad Dova. Every merchant in exception of the huntress has 8,000 Septims for bartering.

  • Basic: Everything is reduced ALOT in comparison to Extra, you have less than 19,000 Gold pool available for trade, every merchant has 3,000 Septims available to barter. -This is for the people who are using mods like Scarcity and Morrowloot-

The Lore (Characters' Details):

War is raging, and armies demand a steady line of supply, something quite difficult with bandits, trolls and witches, not to mention Dragons, are making it difficult enough to make that happen.

The master of the Trade Center is Harold, a former Imperial Captain, He saw an opportunity for a pretty coin in Skyrim with the Civil War's abruption. A Partnership was made with multiple other wealthy businesses, the most important of which is the East Empire Trading Company. There are other business partners from different backgrounds who chose to supervise and provide their services themselves.

The Merchants

  • 'General' Harold: He's a former Captain in the Legion, made a good coin and retired from his post to, well, make more coins. He made his contracts with different suppliers both local and abroad to immediately start the new Center to capitalize on the current situation.

  • Tirasius' Jewelry: Mira Tirasius, an elegant lady from a noble family Kvatch. She inherited her father's business and decided to expand to Skyrim. along with her lover.

  • Sidor and Brenda Greyhound: Husband and Wife, Enchanter and Alchemist, Winterhold College former instructor and Witch Covens former acolyte. They joined together with Harold not for coin, but for the protection provided from his privileged contracts. Their departure from their respective factions was not exactly amicable...

  • Sha'mok: A member of the clan of Narzlbur, Excellent is the least that can be said about his craftsmanship for a primitive Orc, he is a vital part of the Center. He is joined by his son An'Zur, who is only interested in his own and his father's benefit and security.

  • Kathia: Elven fletcher, while she may not be the best in Tamriel, she does however compensate for it with elegant looks and bowmanship. Her wares are not so bad, check them out!

The Bodyguards

Gerlad: Harold's best friend and brother-in-arms, he joined his friend in his endeavors as the muscle while the other is the brain behind the operation.

Rashied: Redguard mercenary, he was recruited by Harold, he's quite excellent with any weapon, while the Curved Blade is the signature weapon of the Akaviri, Rashied favors the mace, and he does well with it too.

An'Zur: Angry by nature, he was taken by his father at the cost of losing his place in his clan, he doesn't want any part in the trade, rather he just wants to decimate anyone, or anything.

J'amili and Inasi: J'amili is the confidant of Mira, and is the 'Khajit' Shield for her personal protection, she never loses sight of her. Inasi is J'amili's cousin and she is tagging along the group as the caretaker of the Center.

Njalda: Local Nord huntress that provides her services just outside the Center, she and Kathia are inseparable.

Current known issues:

The door does not properly lock, it remains open 'til all merchants go to sleep.
Update: Fixed with v0.6.

There's a collision (Clipping) with the mod ETAC: Whiterun Exterior. but is very minor.

---------------------------------------
Mods Compatibility:

Other than the issue mentioned above, nothing really, but you should expect similar incompatibilities with any mod that utilizes the same cell: (Whiterun Exterior 15 - Tamriel 2 , -4)
The mod is cleaned and only uses ESP and Facegen files
You do not need to include this mod into your bashed patch;
WTC is made with Scarcity and Morrowloot in mind:

Morrowloot:
Extra Version: You will want to put this in your Morrowloot patch if you don't believe the lore I just made up. xD
Basic Version: All available items in the armory only relate to the crafter, meaning Blacksmith will only make (Iron - Steel - Plate - Orcish - Ebony) weapons and armor - Fletcher will only offer Elven, Orcish and Ebony bows. The items belong within a levelled list so as to not overwhelm the player early game, and offer the appropriate items at appropriate levels. (You can, but you don't have to include this in your MLU patch)

Scarcity:
The mod "Basic" version is made in the light of Scarcity, the offered items and gold are ALOT less than the Extra version, but in the same time maintains the concept of the mod. I do not recommend  basic version for scarcity patch or that would make the Center's merchants piss-poor it would defeat the concept of the mod.
Using Scarcity for Extra version would be silly considering that the items lists will be reduced in comparison to at least 8,000 Gold available for each merchant.

Future updates:

-Add new dialogue to enrich the characters.
-Allow Harold to fence if the player progresses through Imperial Civil War (He's practically an Imperial bastard).
-Sidor and Brenda able to sell Black Gems (if he gets the Black Star) and Daedra Heart (If he rejects Mehrunes Dagon).
-Being able to turn in certain crafting items to Sha'mok for gold.
