About this mod
Adds the ability to start your game with no skill levels for a more challenging start.
- Permissions and credits
5 seconds after you load this mod into your game, you will be prompted with a notification in the top-left corner of your screen, saying "You may now become bad at everything!", and you will be given a power called "[Skill Zeroer Power]". Upon using this power, your levels for all of your skills will be set to 1, and the power will remove itself when it is done, so it is not loitering in your spellbook at all. If you download the more difficult version your health, magicka, and stamina will also be reduced to 50. It is suggested that you use this spell after you have made your character and have configured your mods, in case you have anything that will change your skill levels after those are done. This mod is intended for those who want a more difficult start to their game.

Recommended Mod:
Timing is Everything, so you can bump up the level at which certain quests and shit start to account for the slower start.
Starting Spell Choice, so you can remove the starter spells if you want. Recommended from the comments (on the SSE page).
Load Order and Compatibility:
You can place this anywhere in your load order because scripts handle giving the spell to the player upon loading the mod up, and it is compatible with everything for the same reason. However, as I said earlier in the description, it is suggested you start the mod with the power after configuring your mods and making your character in order to prevent some other mods from overwriting the changes made to your skills.
FAQ:
-If your skills are all starting at 1, wouldn't that make it so your overall level will increase faster at the start?
Yes, and that is why I made the optional "hard mode," to let your stats account for that, and why I also suggested Timing is Everything. That way, despite the more rapid leveling speed, you are still getting the more difficult starting experience, but you are not being flooded with level-based quests and events when your stats and skills are still too low.
-Why did you call this mod "Skill Zeroer" if you changed all the stats to 1 rather than 0?
Because "Skill Oner" is less catchy of a name, and having the skills at 1 makes no difference. ;)
-Why is the plugin called "Stat Zeroer"?
Because I goofed a little bit when I named the plugin, and I just didn't change it. Don't worry about it, you still have the right version of the mod if you are using the regular version and see that plugin name
-Do I need a new game for this mod?
Technically no, but it is highly recommended that you use it with a new game. :) You could, in theory, add this mod mid-playthrough if you wanted to force all your stats to 1 mid-game. This mod won't refund perks, though, because it is intended to be used right off the start.
-Why can't I temper my items at the workbench or grindstone?
Because you are starting off, and your smithing skill is not yet high enough to temper anything. Improve your craft, then you will become good enough to temper your shit. At least that is how it works in my game, which is quite heavily-modded, so I cannot guarantee it will work like this for everyone.
-Will you make a version to remove racial starting spells?
I tried that, but apparently the removespell script function does not work on racial starting spells. *Shrug* It's not a big deal, though.
