Found this cool weapon mod on SSE Nexus and loved it so much i wanted to play it on Legendary Edition too. I asked Flarescale if i could post here on Nexus my personal backport and he agreed.
The mod adds 2 variants of the same weapon: one is one-handed, the other is a two-handed greatsword.
Optional files for different handle colours also available for download!
Important Note: Flarescale warned me that because of the compressed nature of the original textures (SSE BC7 .dds format) backporting to LE formats (BC1/BC3) might cause a loss of quality or the appearance of ugly square-shaped black artifacts on the textures, there aren't workarounds for this so if you are bothered or annoyed with the visuals of the weapon i apologize. Keep in mind the original SSE mod has NO visual problems, so please don't judge or discredit the original author's work because of this.
I noticed the 2 handed katana model has a much darker steel appearence, i personally don't mind too much as for me it looks like some sort of rare black steel from far away.
Credits: Flarescale for letting me port the mod and for giving important and interesting information about different .dds texture formats and for the tip on the Donation Point system of Skyrim Nexus. I was using it wrong the whole time xD .
