About this mod

GET YOUR HUGE AND AESTHETIC DRAGONS HERE: Makes dragons larger and improves their proportions to make them more immersive and majestic (larger overall, with much larger wings and tail). Compatible with dragon combat mods, game of thrones dragons, and retextures. Able to aim, and all animations work well. Lightweight, with no performance cost.

I should have uploaded the correct files but if i mixed them up let me know, all these optional files kind of sent me into confusion.

MAJOR UPDATE: 2.0:

A better understanding in all of the physics collisions in the skeleton allowed for a 2.0 version: all ragdoll physics are revised. Previous versions weren't able to hit with the wing attacks, now they should. The accuracy of the tail attacks is also better. Also, there should be less problems with dragon ragdolls.

The Mod:

Until now, every attempt to upsize the dragons has failed, with the exception of mods that augment the wingspan, like immersive dragons. A simple skeleton or mesh multiplier makes them unable to aim, missing the breath attacks, makes them clunkier, ruins their pathfinding, and bugs the bite kill move animation (the npc floats out of the dragon's mouth). No more!

This mod is an skeleton edit section by section and bone by bone, with some repositioning. Now dragons are larger overall.; and have much proportionally larger wingspan (able to lift them in the air) and longer tail (making them look more elegant, and proportionate with the other edits). The rest of the body is also moderately larger.They are perfectly able to aim and every animation works perfectly, including killing moves.

The numbers

  • 15% larger legs and torso. 50% wider chest. 40% wider hip.
  • 5% larger neck.
  • 10% larger head.
  • 80% larger tail.
  • 2x/1.7x larger wings.
  • Dragons are a 60% longer overall now.
  • Dragons have TWICE /1.7x the wingspan.

A new version is out! Majestic Dragons Gracile is the smallest and subtlest version, for those who want enhanced, better proportioned, and majestic dragons branded dragons, but also are afraid of clipping or them being too different. Now there's no excuse to not try the mod!. In this version, clipping is reduced to the maximum:  the whole dragon is a bit smaller and slimmer , with more marked reduction in the wings and the tip of the tail. The neck and head are also slightly larger proportionally, for a more serpentine look. (Also, you can always start with this one and ending up using glorious or even mole)

Here are the numbers compared to the original version (Glorious):

  • The legs and torso are a 12% larger instead of +15%, and the chest is a 30% wider instead of +50%.
  • The wingspan is a +55% larger instead of +100%.
  • The tail is a 50% longer instead of +80%.
  • The head is still a 10% larger.
  • The neck is a +10% longer instead of +5%.


Added a new version: Majestic Dragons mole! This is the dragon for those who can never have big enough dragons. They are the absolute hughest I can get them to be for now. The design I had in mind is them being much more robust, muscular looking.

Here are the numbers compared to the original version (Glorious):

Extras:


  • The colisions are reduced in all the model.
  • The saddle bone is in the back rather than in the neck; you can ride the dragon's GOT style. There are optional files that revert the saddle back to the neck. 
  • 100% LORE FRIENDLY and of course IMMERSIVE
  • SAFE to install and update MIDGAME.
  • It uses no scripts and it is lightweight, it doesn't have performance impact.

INSTALLATION
Op1: Use mod manager option and install it with your mod manager (vortex or mod organizer, I use mod organizer)
Op 2: Paste the content of the 7zip in game's data directory in the game's installation folder.

COMPATIBILITY:

COMPATIBLE WITH EVERYTHING that isn't a dragon mesh skeleton file. It is compatible with GOT dragons and IN FACT IT LOOKS BETTER with
them. I use GOT dragons and made the mod with both vanilla and GOT dragons in mind. Just don't let any other dragon skeleton mesh overwrite this one. (if using got dragons, don't download the skeleton mesh or let this one overwrite it).

The mod will alter EVERY dragon in your game, altering every mesh replacer you use. It is compatible out of the box with deadly dragons, diverse dragons, ultimate dragons... It is also compatible with dragon combat overhaul.

Works with precision, and in fact, it is RECOMMENDED that you use this mod along with it. [terminetwork here: Precision is not available for LE, disregard this part]


Obviously incompatible with true dragons (made a custom skeleton for it, more info below) , immersive dragons, immersive dragons  resized, and butterfly dragons, which alter the same file.

ADDED SUPPORT FOR TRUE DRAGONS MOD. For that, you only need to download the optional file called Majestic True Dragons. Load it after the true dragons mod. It is a custom skeleton I made for it and it is highly experimental. The proportions of the wings are those of the tame version (WIP 1.3). The saddle is in the neck, as that mod works best with vanilla dragons. Let me know how it works! :
