None of the current mods for Malukah's music on Nexus were what I was looking for, so I made this mod. This mod will replace all female bard songs with ones sung by the incomparable Malukah, without stops and pauses, and was made with the versions of her songs with less reverb. "Ragnar the Red" will now always play after "Age of Aggression/Oppression" and "Vokul Fen Mah" will always play after "Tale of the Tongues." Lisette, the bard at The Winking Skeever in Solitude, has been replaced with a "Malukah" npc, who is now set to "protected" (you can kill her, but no one else - though a new game is required for her protected status to register). Finally, if you play through the Helgen start, Malukah's "Awake" will replace the special music played at that time.
Malukah's music has given me great enjoyment for many years. I have bought her album, and I hope many of you will, too! Please visit and support her YouTube channel, and her Official Web Site.
Limitations of this mod: Backing vocals and some musical accompaniment will seem to come from nowhere in the Skyrim inns, so it could break immersion for some. Just assume it's a magical lute, and you'll be fine... If you have subtitles turned on, the text will not match beyond the first line of the song. Skyrim inserts pauses between voice files, and so a Malukah song can only occupy the first phrase, or it would be chopped up in a very dissatisfying way. Hence, at the end of the song(s), there will be several blank audio files that will need to briefly play before everyone claps, and the rest of the text will briefly flash on the screen if subtitles are on.
