The runes look awesome and I want to see more of these later. But I have a strange bug in both Vanilla and modded versions that I cant see the runes after they are made. I only see it for a split second and then it disappears only leaving the particle effects.
I dont know why this happens to you ? I mean nearly 7000 downloads and you are the first one that has this problem.. I wish I could help you but just as I said over 6000 people dont have this problem.. Maybe you are using another Mod that conflicts with it.. But I dont know why .. Maybe you should try reinstall a Clean New Skyrim and then only Install this Mod first to see if it works.. Again I wish I could solve your Problem . Just make a backup of your Savegame and try to reinstall a Skyrim without any mod.
I had them working, then I reset my ini files and no longer can see the runes...when i went to check the ini files, all the decal settings were zero/no value. It appears resetting my ini to high settings turned off decals. Any way, I edited the files using my old backups. Fixed!
I'm using this mod in SSE, and also had this issue. Really glad someone answered it. I checked, and my original SkyrimPrefs.ini file had all the Decal settings at 0 (I saved the original as a backup copy before I created the new file). I changed the values to what was suggested here, but left out the MaxPerActor since that wasn't in either of my ini files. Now I can see the runes. I thought I was just stupidly missing them until I tested out Brittleshin Pass to make sure.
Really tough choice. I like the goetic feel and more varied, elaborate designs of V2 -- it looks very goetic. But at the same time I'm not sure how I feel about using the Alphabet of the Magi. I mean, it looks cool, don't get me wrong, and it helps with the goetic feel, but in terms of lore just using Daedric runes would probably make more sense.
I'm using V2 and damn. This just looks so good. IMO vanilla runes were nice, but y'know, kinda boring with not so much differences between each? Now that's badass as well as much more interesting. I didn't try your V1 but it looks yummy too.

1. Download the version you want manually.
2. Open the file and open "Data" in the .zip.
3. Open your Skyrim Special Edition Folder (Usually C:/Steam/steamapps/common/Skyrim Special Edition/Data
4. Now drag the "textures" folder from this mod into your Skyrim SE Data folder.
5. Enjoy, and if you want to make sure it's there, you can follow the file path/ or just check in-game.
