About this mod
Do you want to play a mage but don't want to rely on Alteration for your defense? Or want your mage too 'look' like a warrior? Or playing a mage and want your followers to look the same? This mod adds 5 tiers of light and heavy armour from various mage clothing. I focused on Robes and Hoods but also added boots and gloves as well.

Armored Robes and Cloth Armor
2.2 Major update. Added 'Light' versions of most Heavy armor sets. Also, added 'Heavy' versions of most Light armor sets. All recipes are found only at the Skyforge to avoid clutter on all anvils / forges. Temporing is the same as the 'original' version. I added 'Fistof' perks to gauntlets where needed. Only ArmorLight or ArmorHeavy keywords were changed. I did not add any shields since they do not carry armorheavy / armorlight keywords anyway. Shields are based on armormaterial which I did not alter.
2.1 Minor update. Fixed some crafting issues.
2.0 Added cloth versions of most armor sets.
1.8 Recipes now hidden without components. Also added recipes for alternate Scale and Steel versions.
1.7 Bugged. I corrupted the file when I tried to 'fix' the .esm order. Please revert back to 1.6
1.6 Added a Dragonplate tier.
1.5 Added an Ebony Tier. Only one more to go!!!
1.4 Added an Orc Tier.
1.3 Added Dragon Priest masks to all available tiers. They will be included in all future tiers as well.
1.2 Added a Dwemer tier. Fixed perk on heavy gauntlets.
1.1 Added a Steel tier. More Heavy tiers to come.
1.0 Initial release. Adds Cloth, Leather, Elven, Scaled, Glass, and Dragonscale. This mod requires Dawnguard and Dragonborn.New in 2.0!Now you can play as a mage but still look like a warrior. 2.0 adds most armor sets as cloth versions. I added a total of 189 new items as cloth versions. Now you can wear full Dragonplate and still get the full benefit of the Mage Armor perks. Or now have an easier time outfitting your mannequins. Most new recipes are based on the Leather set. Some will have an extra ingredient depending on the item, ie. the Iron set will require 1 iron ingot each, Dragonplate / scale will require dragon parts, Daedric will require Daedric Hearts, etc... None of the recipes require any perks to craft (since they all have the same base stats as a unenchanted piece of clothing. ) Also, all new items have clothing keywords instead of armor ones. This means most blacksmiths will not buy them, but misc vendors will. I did leave in the armor material keywords and any quest keywords. I also left in any 'fistof' perks on the heavy gauntlets (I figured why not? ) Also, Steel Plate / Scaled armor and above has the 'clothingRich' keyword on it. All new items kept the same name with the word 'cloth' added to the end. All new items are available at the forge / anvil. I was going to put them at the tanning rack, but it just lumped them into one giant list.Original Readme 1.0Do you want to play a mage but don't want to rely on Alteration for your defense? Or playing a mage and want your followers to look the same? This mod adds 11 tiers (1 clothing, 5 light, 5 heavy) of armour of various mage clothing. I focused on Robes and Hoods but also added boots and gloves as well. I also included the clothing versions of each for those that still want to use flesh and ward spells. All items can be made at the forge / anvil. The tiers are clothing (under misc), Leather, Elven, Scaled, Glass, Dragonscale, Steel, Dwemer, Orc, Ebony, and Dragonplate. The clothing versions use the same recipes as leather. For the armour tiers, you simply exchange a 'normal' piece of armour for a Robe version. So if you want an elven Robe, simply craft, buy, loot, or steal an elven curaiss and take it to the forge. All armours can be tempered as well. Note - some of the items originally for NPC's only may not look right for all races or sexes. Also I didn't change the weight of the armours, so all pieces weigh 1 pound. I did change the cost, AR, and keywords to match each tier however. So matching perks will work, but remember wearing two head pieces at the same time will negate it. Also, 'most' of the head pieces are set to only the 'hair' slot.22 Boots, 11 Gloves, 20 Hoods, 31 Robes-Boots-

Recommended Mods
This mod was designed as a companion to my Aetherium Sabers mod, however it is not required and either mod will work without the other. Also, this mod adds no meshes / textures / or scripts. Only vanilla assets are used, though if you use mods that replace the default Robes these will change as well.
