This mod lets you enter Riften from all gates.
Bethesda wanted you to discover Riften through the north gate to ensure you meet an array of characters inside the city. You probably know all of them very well by now. This mod is a stand-alone feature from Idle Dialogue Overhaul, which lets you start some of those forceful questlines more gracefully.
