This is version 2.2.4 of Dippy's Overhaul, and is a stable WIP.

At some point, I might even update the pictures section lol
This project started back in 2012. I found I had 400 mods I wanted to use, and only the 255 slots to plug in. So I started trying my hand at making “fixes” based on what I had seen and wanted on Nexus. To make things clear: I didnt create the models, textures, or script work in this mod. At some point in the last several years, I have asked for and received permission from all authors listed to use their work, aside from the resource mods, where Fair Use is implied, if not directly stated. That said, my memory is horrible, so Im sure I probably forgot to tag a page, tag a link, or play tag with Link, or something as one of these great and generous authors wished. If you recognize your work, and werent credited, (or its not how you wanted) I apologize, and assure you it was not intentional. Send me a message of what and how to fix, and I will be overjoyed to correct it.
Between ThatBadger's Ultra Survival,The Unofficial Patch Team's USLEEP, and this, hopefully, we will wind up with a definitive "Starter base" for all games, and then you can branch out as per taste.
Requirements:
All three DLCs.
USLEEP is not required, YET, but probably will be by the end of the project. Besides, why would you play without it?
There is a read-me file in the zip and also on the "Readme" tab with detailed list of changes.

Short Version:
The different Races and Factions actually use their own gear. I know! Weird, right?
Working on de-leveling areas: Wolves and bears dont disappear from the Eco-sphere as you level up.
Monster level with you: while the areas are de-leveled, the monsters arent. You will find the Alpha wolf that levels like you; guards level with you, as do most men and mer. And so on
People got upgraded: some got a face-lift, better gear, skills, perks, spells, new fighting styles or all the above
Kids are mortal; save them if you can, hero.
Races got new height, weight, and unarmed damage
Critters are tougher
Most food laying around is removed; food in containers is still there
Darkness: if there is no logical reason for a place to be lighted (tombs, dungeons, animal dens) then they wont be
Map Markers for most POIs and Ore Veins; I suggest you turn off the compass in your HUD
Border passes to other provinces are blocked; Holds have borders as well. (unfinished)
Settlements have been adjusted to look more like real settlements

Thats why Skyrim allows you to adjust your difficulty. Or you can crack open the CK and change values, like I did. If its an idea that does more than just toggle values though, let me know. I always welcome new ideas.

Yeah. I know. Some people have that amazing talent to make characters look beautiful; absolutely, breath-takingly, soul-stealingly, heart-breakingly beautiful. Seraphic even. I am the polar opposite of those people.

In a game where you wear short sleeves in the dead of winter, during a blizzard, on top of a mountain, in a land located in the arctic circle, while your elf and orc buddies help you kill a dragon to steal a demon's treasure, you're worried about “realistic”?
Q)Why the armors (too/ not enough) “slooty”?
A)I tried to walk a fine line between tasteful art and functional use and....bwahahaha. Yeah, I cant say it with a straight face. I needed some pretty girlies to warm up the cold cruelty of the harshly bleak Skyrim landscape, but left some “normal” for the “grrrls” out there that get offended at pixels in a fantasy game.
Q)Could you fix it so that my toddler-looking loli waifu can be raped by tentacle monsters daily in front of an audience for money?
A)Even if I knew how, hells to the F^&king NO!!
Q)Where did you get this warm, sensitive, understanding, gentle personality from?
A) A cracker-jacks box I found in the gutter. Or the Army. Take your pick.

A)'Cause God loves me, even if everyone else thinks Im a jerk.

A) I brew my own, so I dont care.

A) Superman. As Wiz from "Death Battle" put it, the man that can overcome his limits, no matter how impressive, will never be able to defeat a man with no limits at all.

A) ME! All ME! And whoever wants to side with ME! Everyone else dies!!
Q) Ninjas or Pirates?
A) Pirates; they get rum and booty!
Q) Favorite Quest?
A) Kill all humans. What?! That isnt an official quest? What Skyrim have you been playing??!!!
Q) Did you rip the idea for this section from Lupus78 and Sessine, who stole it from T3nd0?
A) I can neither confirm nor deny those allegations.

Conflicting mods
none yet.... But Im sure there will be some. Its Skyrim. There's ALWAYS some conflict.
As one sage of the forums put it, “even when there should be no possible chance of conflict, bugs, or errors, with Skyrim, there is ALWAYS a chance of conflict, bugs and errors.”

All of this work came from modders who believe in "Forever Free". Indeed, many have the stipulation that their works are forbidden from ever being used in pay mods. I cannot give permission for anyone to use the parts of this mod that come from other generous authors (see forum tab for full list) but what Ive done, you are welcome to, with the same "Forever Free" stipulation: it can never be used in a pay mod.
