Ever wondered why on Nirn they made Miraak wear robes with light armored boots and gloves? Ever wonder why those light armor boots didn't seem to work right with light armor perks? Or maybe why they didn't cancel out the Mage Armor perks? It never made sense to me, so after some digging I found the coding that gave Miraak's Boots their weight and armor rating, and discovered that in spite of that they were classified as clothing. WEIRD RIGHT?
Anyway, this mod has 2 different pieces that are mutually exclusive from each other. One part will turn the gloves and boots into pure unarmored pieces to match the robes. The other part will turn the robes into a light armor piece of gear (the armor is equivalent to Glass armor, in line with the boots), and fixed the wonky code so it'll actually cancel out Mage Armor perks, and benefit from Light Armor perks.
Now you can go out as Miraak in your own way. Light armored spellsword, or unarmored magician.
Please note - you only need ONE of these files. You can't use both as one will overwrite the other. Also, this fix does not apply to Miraak's mask. It already has it's own coding for deciding which mask drops. If you use Light armor, then you'll automatically get the one you want. If you use robes then you can use the mage's circlet from the College quest just as easily.
