1) SHORT DESCRIPTION

Now Skyrim suffers really by a Civil War.
Each hold (only exception Whiterun hold, according to lore) have own Imperial or Stormcloack patrols that guard the borders and enter into cities/villages to search for spies, enemies and bandits.
Some patrols go over the borders to spy and attack enemy soldiers.
There are four great battles along the border of two factions, where more than 200 soldiers fight to death.
And much other… Read carefully the long description for details.
Enjoy!

From THE ELDER SCROLL WIKIA: Initially, both the Empire and the Stormcloak Rebellion control four Holds. The Empire controls Falkreath, Haafingar, Hjaalmarch, and the Reach, while the Stormcloaks control Eastmarch, the Pale, the Rift and Winterhold. Balgruuf the Greater, Jarl of the central Whiterun Hold, remains uneasily neutral, but he will eventually side with the … once the war is joined.
– 12 Imperial Patrols (total n. 38 soldiers) that guard the borders and fight into and for Falkreath, Haafingar, Hjalmarch and The Reach Holds.
– 8 Stormcloak Patrols (total n. 24 soldiers) that guard the borders and fight into and for Eastmarch, The Pale, The Rift and Winterhold Holds.
– 4 Imperial Armies (total n. 125 soldiers) fight 4 different battles (two are large scale – 40 vs. 40).
– 4 Stormcloak Armies (total n. 125 soldiers) fight 4 different battles (two are large scale – 40 vs. 40).
All soldiers are respawnable.

2) COMPATIBILITY

As far as I know, Populated Skyrim Civil War is compatible with anything and does not use scripts.
In fact, you may use with all Immersive Patrols modules, if you want.
Please, consider that PSCW uses vanilla soldiers, so if you are using a mod that alters vanilla NPCs (as Skyre, Requiem, ERSO, etc.) PSCW soldiers will have proper specifics related to your other mods.

3) INSTALLATION

PSCW is only an .esp (with meshes and textures for new NPC faces). So you may install and uninstall it without problem. Moreover, It does not use scripts
You may put PLRP at the top of your load order.

3.1) How use the mod for better immersion?
PSCW is only a .esp, so his stuff will respawn regularly. So, when you have finished the Civil War Campaign simply you may uninstall the mod (clean save, entering into in interior area, wait a new respawn cycle – usually 10/30 in game days – then new save).

3.2) How use the mod for better immersion with Civil War Overhaul by Apollodown?

SOLUTION A
1) Install the full mod (version full) and use it until starting (whenever you want) the Civil War Campaign.
2) Before starting the Civil War Campaign unistall the mod and install the version Battles
3) When finished the Civil War Campaign uninstall definitively PSCW.

SOLUTION B
1) Install only the version Battles
3) When finished the Civil War Campaign uninstall definitively PSCW.

4) REQUIREMENTS

Nothing.

5) KNOWN BUGS

None.
