About this mod

The back room of the main hall is originally an useless room. Now, it's a really nice, cozy and functional kitchen. The third mod of this series.

This is a mod series to enhance the Lakeview Manor interior to something more deserved by the Dragonborn. The idea is to make a beautiful house with more space and features without the clutter of the original.

Originally, the idea was to make the interior of the manor more compatible with the outside for the ones who use the Lakeview Extended mod, what was my case at the time.

Now, I've changed a lot my installed mods and I'm using the Extended Hearthfire mod, wich adds other great features to Hearthfire and is more lore-friendly. Then, plans changed a bit. But, of course, my mods will still be compatible with the atmosphere from Lakeview Extended.

I will not tell you much about future plans cause I'm still projecting how exactly it will be. But I still will not make my things buyable or craftable, cause I do not know how, I should had said it somewhere. Just to let you know.

The Back Room Kitchen
I really never understood the finality of the vanilla back room of the main hall in first floor. It's cluttered and lacks functionality.

I really fell in love with shezrie kitchen and liked the idea of a kitchen in that space. We could use shezrie mod, but I had some ideas and I really have a particular taste of design and decoration.

My kitchen made me really proud of my creative mind! It's cool, beautifull, feels lore-friendly for me... Well, it's really amazing. Really.

It has lots of custom containers, for different players and tastes, an oven, butter churn and has a different stove with a cooking pot on top.

All you need for a kitchen is cleverly placed in that back room. See the pics.
Hope you enjoy.

Also, be sure to take a look in the other 2 mods of this series.

Please, read the entire description before installing.

Features
 • navmesh alterations;
 • improved lighting (In some tests, one of the lights was fading. Please, let me know how your lights are in game);
 • amazing atmosphere and decoration;
 • counter top, accessed from main hall;
 • new door, to keep guests out of your kitchen;
 • many custom containers;
 • custom stove with functional cooking top (because of the height, you'll float while using it, nothing I can do about that);
 • Hearthfire oven;
 • Hearthfire butter churn;

Requirements
Skyrim 1.9.32* or higher;
Dawnguard, Hearthfire and Dragonborn DLCs.

Installation
*Always make back-up saves before trying new mods.*

Make sure you are outside the Lakeview manor before installing.

Download the mod and install on NMM or download the zip manually, extract and copy the files to your Skyrim's data folder.

You need to buy the Lakeview Manor and build the Main Hall. Then remove the workbenches of Main Hall when you done using them.

I tested the installation and activation of the mod before and after building anything. I didn't see anything wrong, except for a lighting fading in some tests, but not in the latest ones. So, please, give feedback.

I didn't tested with the room fully furnished, but you can give it a try and send me the results.

Compatibility

This mod should be compatible with any mods that don't change the back room of the Lakeview Manor. Also, if you use any other Lakeview interior mods, put my mod after the others on the load order or you won't use my navmesh alterations.
If you're using more ELM mods, download the merged navmesh file through the link bellow. Just install and put after the ELM main files in the load order. If you find any problems or bugs let me know.

Uninstall
Before uninstall, remove any items from the room that you want to keep, leave the manor and make a hard save. Then you can uninstall the mod in NMM or delete the files from your data folder. Load your save and save again. Done.

Future Plans

My future plans aren't very clear anymore. As I said before, my installed mods are changed and I have to rethink some things.

I just can say that my next step will be the refurnishing of the rest of Main Hall. I'll change some structure, like the second floor walls and the fireplace.

If you take a good look in the fireplace, the shape of the chimney on the second floor is perpendicular to the first floor. It's really odd. I'll fix that and then I'll have to change the walls in second floor too. Lots of work, including mesh editing.

If you have any ideas about the main hall or about other rooms, please, let me know. I'll analize every idea.
