Once upon a time, there was a Nexus user called sturmritter. He released a mod called "Dawnguard Vampire Corps" which, upon completion of the Dawnguard main quest in favor of the eponymous organization, would allow you to contract vampirism and still do stuff for the Dawnguard.
It was a good mod, and quite useful if you wanted to pretend to be Wesley Snipes. But it had a major problem: it had a wealth of dirty edits. Some of these changed nothing, while others were relics of a failed attempt to add extra functionality. Regardless, they were there, and sturmritter was unwilling to remove them on his own.
He was, however, apparently willing to configure the mod permissions so that others could do so and then upload the results. Which is what I have done. And which is all that I have done, so please be sure to give him at least 80% of your gratitude.
This is based on the Light version of the mod, because there's plenty of other vampirism mods that do stuff to blood potions.
