About this video

Not sure what's going on here with my blocking animation but if anyone has any idea please let me know how I can fix this.

First person meshes for armours and clothing are typically just the arms of the outfit and any skin from the arms that would be revealed in the model. That would explain the disembodied part of your issue in game. But as to why your camera zooms out to reveal that fact (which is suppose to be hidden from the player) is odd. Are you using a first person animation replacement mod?

I'm making first person animations. I'm making them through blender 2.8 using nif skripts to export them into hkx files.

Ah well... Not really my area. But it seems that your camera is pulling out without the engine being told to switch from the first person model to third. At least that's my assumption. You may want to seek advice on Reddit or the Lover's Lab forum. LL has a lot of well-versed animators and scriptors.

I think i'm beginning to understand the problem, first, I was using the wrong skeleton to export since the rig I was using was meant for 3rd. Not a problem, I just take a few more steps using hkxcmd. Now my arms don't go forwards and backwards because there is new bones specific to first person (translate rotate, and Cam1) HOWEVER, now my view camera is on the ground. I think it has something to do with the fact Cam1 is parented to the NPC root node. I'm not sure if you care to know any of this but it's so incredibly hard to find any help or documentation about how to go about making animations for first person that I now understand why we have had so few mods involving first person animations. It also doesn't help that mod authors who have figured it out don't seem to want to help in any way, when I figure this all out i'm going to make absolutely sure I am crystal clear about how to go about making animations for first person using the blender rig from Anton. So more so I'm here just telling people what I have figured out so far and know to be true.

I feel your pain on the lack of documentation. I was working on pose animations and abandoned the project when I couldn't find tutorials using 3ds Studio Max to finish the process. I have a folder of projects that end up collecting dust because I don't know how to complete them, lol.

It's hard to let a project go when you've already comitted. I've literally had dreams of solving this issue I have. I may be able to help you with the pose animations. If it's something simple enough I could even do it for you.
