How to find location ID
The location id is used to assign a custom weather template to any location. This is very important to improve a preset or to adjust some weird lighting behavior in skyrim.Given the number of places we can find in skyrim, it's very nice that users can help us find them all.
I will, of course, be happy to share this data with anyone who needs it.
So here's how to do it:
- Go to https://en.uesp.net/
- Search the location (ex: White River Watch)
- Get location Editor ID (ex: WhiteRiverWatch01)
- Open SSEEdit and search Editor ID (ex: WhiteRiverWatch01)
- Under right panel, scroll down to XLCN - Location, press CTRL and clik on its name (ex: WhiteRiverWatchLocation "Whit...)
- Get the location ID (All digits on the left)
- And voilà !
Send it to me with the name of the place (ex: White River Watch 000192C5), that way, thanks to you, I could customize or fix this place.
