There's a really handy script for zEdit now in the "Optional files", that makes approximately the same what is now crossed out, but in like 5 seconds and 3 mouse clicks - no additional steps, tools and such, just click and go.
1. Download the archive, and unpack the 'ReProccer Filter.js' to <zEdit folder>\scripts
2. Load zEdit session with your load order.
3. Click any mod on the left, and pick "Automate" in the contex menu.
4. Select the 'ReProccer Filter.js' from the 'Script' dropdown list, and click Ok.
5. That's it!
Go to "Manage Patchers", and build the ReProccer patch as usual.
Ok, so you have more than 255 plugins and don't know how to shove 'em all into zEdit?
Well, you don't need to. Here's why:
ReProccer patches only certain types of records - it means, that if plugin contains no such records, it can be skipped; no need to load it in zEdit. ReProccer patches weapons (WEAP), armor (ARMO), ammunition (AMMO), projectiles (PROJ) and ingredients (INGR).
But let's say, you don't know/unsure which plugin contains what record type - in this case you can filter your plugins by record types with xEdit:AMMO - Ammunition
ARMO - Armor
INGR - Ingredient
PROJ - Projectile
WEAP - Weapon
Press "Filter" then.
SSEEdit will filter out all plugins that contain no abovelisted records (it colud take some time based on plugins number). Those that left are elegible for patching and should be loaded in zEdit (i'm pretty sure there's less that 255 of them) - remember, write down or make a screenshot of that list.

In the aftermath of my modding crusade I've been left with 633 plugins in LOOT that I need to consolidate down to the 254 limit, so I've been following this guide to only utilize the plugins under the necessary filter when running ReProccer through zEdit, however when selecting the AMMO, ARMO, INGR, PROJ, and WEAP filters, where I assumed I'd be getting a relatively simple-to-read list of all the mods under the list, I was given a list of every single plugin anyways, just with varying color markers.
Initially didn't seem like an issue since I figured "oh well the colors must just be marking which mods fit into what category", except there isn't a single way I've been able to find that will prove that theory, and nothing within SSEEdit that will tell me what any of the colors means (which is likely where my ignorance comes into play).
That's when I apply the filters without ticking the "by Base Record Signature" box, when I do select that option, applying the filter does nothing. I don't mean to dramatically say that it does something I don't understand, it genuinely does nothing. I select all of the desired categories and run them all through my list the same way, and it closes the filter tab as if it's about to start the process, and nothing happens. I'm left with an SSEEdit screen with zero plugins loaded and nothing in the messages tab.
If anyone is able to give me instructions a 3-year-old could understand while drunk - since that's apparently what I need - or is otherwise able to direct me to a tool that would allow me to further combine plugins so that I'm not 400 files over the limit, I would really appreciate it, because I've been going at this for an amount of time that would physically anger me to reveal, and this "adventure" has gotten to the point where I don't even feel like trying to mod this game is worth it for the amount of time I may have simply wasted, all due to the fact that I just have too many plugins.
