A brief explanation to resolve these issues and create a patch will also be reiterated on this page.

1. Open xEdit and load your modlist in its entirety

2. Find the plugin for the race you're having issues with

3. Open the 'FormID List' dropdown menu

4. If they're being overridden by another mod (They're red), check for differences by left-clicking them and scrolling through the list on the right.

5. Once you've found the incompatibility, right-click and select 'copy as override into' and create a new .esp, preferably esl-flagged.

6. Add the FormIDs from the custom race and any interfering mods in the new plugin and save.

7. Activate the plugin and ensure it loads later than the plugins its meant to override.
