- INCOMPATIBLE MODS -
The following mods break OStim Standalone functionality and should not be used in combination with OStim Standalone:
- OStim (non Standalone)
- OSA by CEO
- OSex, or anything starting with “OSex”
- OAlign, OSearch, OSound
- Conditional Expressions (The extended version works)
- Enhanced Charactor Edit (ECE)
- Fore's New Idles in Skyrim SE (FNIS) - Nemesis must be used after, if both are installed.
- FK’s Diverse Racial Skeletons
- Any mod that overwrites XPMSSE’s Skeleton
- Racial Body Morphs Redux SSE AE - FKDRS - Diverse body types and height by Race and Gender
- True Player Idling

- MOD MANAGERS -
This install guide will work with either MO2 or Vortex! We do not encourage nor support the use of NMM or direct install.
For a very helpful guide on load order and conflict management, see This Video
- SKYRIM VERSIONS -
OStim Standalone will always work with versions 1.5.97-1.6.659.
- 1.5.97: This is the Skyrim version with the most modding support. It is a very stable version of Skyrim that the community has settled on. You must use a downgrader to obtain this version.
- 1.6.629: This is the first version called AE. Almost nobody uses this version and you shouldn't either since there are no advantages of this over 1.6.353.
- 1.6.353: This version is an “inbetween” Skyrim version; the last SE version before AE broke compatibility, but not compatible with 1.5.97. Modding support is somewhat limited, but most major mods have compatible options.
- 1.6.640: Also called AE. 95% of mods have a compatible option for this version. Most mods for these versions should work for 1.6.353 as well.
- 1.6.659: This is the first available version from GOG.
- 1.6.1130: This version still has issues with a lot of mods. Any issues with OStim on this version are being identified and addressed.
- 1.6.1170: This is the latest Steam version.
- 1.6.1179: This is the latest available version from GOG.
- INCOMPATIBLE SKYRIM VERSIONS -
- Epic Games Store: This version of Skyrim is not supported by OStim Standalone.
- Windows Store/Game Pass: This version of Skyrim is not supported by OStim Standalone.
- Legendary Edition: No.
- Step 1: DETERMINING YOUR SKYRIM VERSION -
- Navigate to your Skyrim install folder, typically located at C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\Steam Apps\Common\Skyrim SE.
- Find your game executable, named SkyrimSE.exe.
- Right click it > Properties > Details
- Near the middle should be a section called 'Product Version'. Write this down. This is your Skyrim Game Version.
- Step 2: INSTALLING DEPENDENCIES -
Match your Skyrim version to the dependency versions listed below.
For this section, using middle mouse click will be useful for opening these links in a new browser tab.

Alternatively to Nemesis you can also use Pandora if you know how to set that up, but OStim will not work with FNIS.
YOU CANNOT* USE NEMESIS AND FORE’S NEW IDLES (FNIS) AT THE SAME TIME. DELETE FNIS.
Anything that requires FNIS will work properly with Nemesis, except for animal sex mods.
(*You can, but you shouldn't unless you know what you are doing.)
This mod needs to be installed as a tool. Watch the guides below to do so properly.

- Step 5. MOD LOAD ORDER -
This is NOT the Plug-in load order. Using LOOT will NOT do this section for you.
This is a relative load order for the mods installed in this guide, as well as other common conflicts.
Other mods may load in between these, but this is the order these need to follow relative to each other.
Mod Load Order only matters if there is a conflict. Many of the dependencies don't have conflicts and so aren't listed here.

LOAD LAST (High priority)
- Step 6. RUN NEMESIS -
- Launch nemesis from your mod organizer toolbar.
- Click “Update Engine”
- Click “Launch Nemesis Behavior Engine”
95% of nemesis errors are solved by enabling Windows 7 compatibility on Nemesis.exe and adding the entire installed mods folder to Windows Defender's exclusions.
You have successfully installed the OStim Standalone Framework.
If you do not have male or female nude body mods, read on below.
For some additional mod suggestions, including first person perspective (Improved Camera), go to the bottom of this page.
If you don’t already have nude body mods installed yet, then this section is for you.
You should always read mod page descriptions and requirements, but especially here.
For an in depth bodyslide guide, join the Official OStim Standalone Discord
- Step 1: BODY DEPENDENCIES -
1. CBPC:
This lists FNIS as a requirement, however, You should be using Nemesis instead of FNIS. You do not need to and should not download FNIS.
Anything that requires FNIS will work fine or better with Nemesis, except for bestiality mods, which we do not support.
All versions: >> Click Here <<
Recommended install options:
1. Set “Bounce Amplitude” at normal
2. Enable “Gravity” config.
(Optional) CBPC Configs for 3BA/BHUNP: >> Click Here <<
This provides proper cbpc physics configs for 3BA and BHUNP.
2. Faster HDT-SMP
You should not have regular HDT-SMP installed if you are using Faster HDT-SMP.
FSMPV is also unnecessary to install.
All versions: >> Click Here <<
(Optional) OSMP: >> Click Here <<
This automatically toggles SMP physics on for actors in an OStim NG scene, then toggles SMP physics back off at the end of the scene.
Without toggling SMP physics, characters will default to using CBPC, even if you selected SMP in your body mod FOMOD.
Make sure you select the correct version for your body (3BA, BHUNP, etc)
3. Bodyslide
You must follow the install instructions for your mod organizer on the mod page
All Versions: >> Click Here <<
For an in depth and practical bodyslide guide, join the OStim Standalone Discord
4. (Recommended) OBody NG
MAKE CERTAIN YOU READ THE MOD PAGE VERY CAREFULLY
This distributes body presets to every npc and allows for mid game customization of bodies. It is the best way to get diverse and varied bodies into your game.
All Versions: >> Click Here <<
- Step 2: BODIES -
A note on physics engines (CBPC and SMP):
Vaginas and penises must use the same physics for collisions to occur. Penis mods use CBPC, so you must select “CBPC” for “Vagina” during install.
Additionally, HDT-SMP is more demanding than CBPC. Because of this, SMP physics must be manually toggled on and off for each character.
If you do not toggle on SMP physics in game, bodies will use CBPC by default, even if you selected SMP in your body FOMOD.
1. Females:
There are two main body mods for female nude bodies: 3BA and BHUNP.
Select ONE of the below bodies for install:
- 3BA (3 Breast Bone Body):
1. First download and install CBBE: >> Click Here <<
2. Then download and install 3BA: >> Click Here <<
Body Shape Setting: only matters if you do not use OBody NG or do not build with bodyslide (Not Recommended).
Physics: Vagina must be CBPC for proper collisions, unless you install an SMP compatible penis mod for males.
SMP settings may affect performance.
- BHUNP:
All Versions: >> Click Here <<
Physics: Vagina must be CBPC for proper collisions, unless you install an SMP compatible penis mod for males.
Choose the rest as you wish. SMP settings may affect performance.
- (Optional) Female Skin:
For better looking skin, download a skin texture for your body mod. The most popular textures have compatibility for both 3BA and BHUNP.
Choose ONE:
BnP: >> Click Here <<
- OR -
Reverie: >> Click Here <<
2. Males:
In-depth guides for the Male Body are available on the Official OStim Standalone Discord
Male Bodies come in two shapes, Vanilla or Non-Vanilla; and are made of two pieces, Body and Genitalia.
TNG (The New Gentleman) supplies a Vanilla Body with Genitalia, and can use the HIMBO Body.
SAM supplies a Vanilla Body with Genitalia and cannot use the HIMBO Body.
HIMBO supplies an advanced Non-Vanilla Body that can be customized in Bodyslide. You must use either SOS or TNG to add Genitalia.
SoS supplies a Vanilla Body with Genitalia, and can use the HIMBO Body.
SoSAM supplies a Non-Vanilla Body with Genitalia, and has optional files for Bodyslide.
The OStim Standalone team recommends The New Gentleman for an easy Male Body.
For Bodyslide customization for male bodies, install SOS or TNG and add HIMBO.
Select ONE of the below options for install:
These are sorted by installation difficulty, with TNG being the easiest to install.
- The New Gentleman (TNG):
TNG is the only option available on NexusMods, and is a new and easy male body/genitalia mod. This does not yet support Futa.
Compatible with vanilla armors.
1. Install TNG: >> Click Here <<
- SAM Lite:
SAM improves the vanilla body mesh and texture. Compatible with vanilla armors.
1. First download SAM Lite: >> Click Here <<
2. Then download SAM High Poly Conversion >> Click Here <<
3. Then download SAM Lite Texture Add-on: >> Click Here <<
- Schlongs of Skyrim (SoS):
SoS is an older mod with a lot of add-ons including Futa and genitalia for creatures. Compatible with vanilla armors.
1. First download SoS Full, No .dll version (Requires PapyrusUtil): >> Click Here <<
- !! You MUST NOT install the "SOS Skeleton" in the SOS Installer
- !! SoS MUST be overwritten by XMPSSE
2. Then download SoS Uncloaked: >> Click Here <<
3. Then download Spell Perk Item Distribution (SPID): >> Click Here <<
4. Then configure XPMSSE:
- !! You MUST select the "SoS Compatibility Patch" option in XPMSSE's Installer.
- HIMBO:
HIMBO is only a Body and requires either TNG or SoS for Genitalia. HIMBO is a high-poly body that is customizable in Bodyslide.
Requires HIMBO armors/replacers.
1. First install either SoS or TNG by following the above instructions
2. Then install HIMBO: Reading this mod page is highly recommended. >> Click Here <<
- SoSAM:
SoSAM combines the customization of SoS with the High-Poly Body of SAM. Its the Best of Both Worlds.
Due to the complexity of the installation, the instructions are located on the Official OStim Standalone Discord.
Go to the #bot-spam channel and type the command !sosam into chat.
- Step 3: BODYSLIDE -
A Note on Body Mods and Bodyslide:
By default, body mods change only the nude body.
If you want outfits to show custom body changes, you need to install outfit mods that are built for your body, then build them in Bodyslide.
Also by default, only the player character and vanilla npcs will use your custom body mod which you installed above.
Non-vanilla characters must be assigned this body using mods like MFBO for 3BA, or Destandalone for BHUNP.
An example is: Bijin NPCs supplies it’s own body and will not use 3BA/BHUNP by default. You must overwrite it with one of the above mods.
Instructions:
Now that you have installed your body mods, there are two paths for you to choose: With OBody NG and without.
If you are using OBody NG:
Follow the OBody NG instructions, then you are done: >> Click Here <<
If you are not using OBody NG (not recommended):
You must build your body mods individually. Read the following sections for each of the body mods you have installed.
HIMBO (if installed):
1. Open Bodyslide
2. Select group filters in the top right corner, and select only any groups that contain the word HIMBO
3. Go to the outfit selector in the top left corner and select one of the himbo bodies named “HIMBO Body”.
4. Open the preview window at the bottom of the sliders. Play with the sliders to make a body you want, or select one of the presets from the preset drop-down underneath the outfit selector.
5. Proceed to the “Batch Build” section below and build your HIMBO body FIRST, then read the CBBE/3BA/BHUNP section and build your female body.
CBBE/3BA/BHUNP:
1. Open Bodyslide
2. Select group filters in the top right corner, and select all groups **except** HIMBO if you have it installed.
3. Go to the outfit selector in the top left corner and select the default nude body for your body mod.
For CBBE, the default nude body is “CBBE Body”.
For 3BA the default nude body is “CBBE 3BBB Body Amazing”.
For BHUNP, the default nude body should be something like “BHUNP 3BBB Advanced Ver 3”.
4. Open the preview window at the bottom of the sliders. Play with the sliders to make a body you want, or select one of the presets from the preset drop-down underneath the outfit selector.
5. Proceed to the “Batch Build” section below.
Batch Build:
1. When you have changed your body to your liking, click the “Build Morphs” box, then click “Batch Build” in the bottom left corner.
2. Confirm which outfits you want to build using the current slider settings in the first window.
3. Select which version of each outfit you want to build in the second window.
4. Click next and let Bodyslide build your outfits.
Note: Building may take a while depending on how many outfits you have and your hardware.
5. If you are using HIMBO, you need to go to the female body mod section above this and now build your female body.
For help with installing bodies, join the Official OStim Standalone Discord
If you don't want to use any sex toys you can skip this section.
(Note: sex toys only work with version 7.3.1 and upwards)
- Step 1: INSTALLATION AND SETUP -
Lovense
If you do not already have a Lovense toy you can get one in their shop.
1. Install the OStim Lovense Support add-on. >> Click Here <<
2. Set up the Connection
- enable Game Mode in your Lovense Remote App
- open the OStim MCM ingame, go to the Addons page
- insert your "Local IP" and "SSL Port" from the Remote App into the "IP" and "SSL Port" options in the MCM (respectively)
3. Reload connected toys
Restart the game or start and end an OStim scene to cause OStim to reload the connected toys.
Afterwards all currently connected toys should show up in the MCM.
- Step 2: CONFIGURATION -
Open the toys page in the OStim MCM.
1. Synchronization
By default toys synchronize with the entire scene. If you want them to only synchronize with a specific actor you can change the synchronization type to one of the following options:
1) Player - toys will only synchronize with the player character
2) Male - toys will only synchronize with the first male actor in the scene
3) Female - toys will only synchronize with the first female actor in the scene
If toy and slot selection are set to all when configuring this it will affect all slots over all toys. If it is left on individual synchronization you can instead configure it individually on a per toy and/or slot basis.
2. Disabling unwanted slots
Toy configuration can be individualized over a list of slots. This allows you to fine tune your settings depending on where the action is going.
By default every toy reacts to every slot.
If you want to disable a slot entirely over all toys leave the toy selection on all and select the slot in question, then uncheck enabled.
If you want to only use specific toys on specific slots you have to go through all toys individually and disable all the slots you do not want to use for them. This is a little tedious but it's the only way to offer the full scope of configurability on this scale.
