Issue: I'm getting jumbled animated letters
Answer: Outdated skyhud.txt. Please migrate your old skyhud.txt to the new one properly. To do this copy the values of your old config into the new one. If there are settings missing in the new config, ignore those settings.
Issue: I've installed the mod and nothing happens in game
Answer: Remove any loose hudmenu.swf or hudmenu.gfx.
Issue: I'm getting blank HUD
Answer: Missing compassmarkerart.swf . Reinstall the mod or compassmarkerart.swf . This may happen if you install SkyHUD as loose files, install a map marker mod and then remove the marker mod.
Issue: I'm getting CTD when SkyHUD is used with certain mods
Answer: See Compatibility Note about Floating Health Bars.
Issue: My notification messages are behaving weirdly and not scaling
Answer: See Compatibility Note about SkyUILib
Issue: I have a problem with [mod manager]
Answer: Sorry I don't know what the problem is. I can't provide support for mod manager issues.
Issue: There is a message telling me something about corrupt preset
Answer: The config is missing or there's a version mismatch between your config and the mod. Migrate your config to the latest version. If you choose "None" for preset installation, remember no config will be installed! The installer text for "None" option is outdated, I'm sorry for the confusion. Please follow the proper upgrade procedure.
OLD ISSUES - INSTALL THE LATEST VERSION
COMPATIBILITY NOTES
This mod is NOT compatible with any mod using hudmenu.swf/hudmenu.gfx.
1. SkyUI
Known issues:
- SkyUI widgets are not hidden when opening menus after using a Conjuration spell
Cause:
- The problem is caused by SkyHUD's workaround for missing crosshair introduced in 0.80B.
Suggested fix/workaround:
- At the moment there is no fix or workaround for the issue.
2. Immersive HUD
- Install the compatibility patch.
Known issues (will not fix, just don't use these options):
- SkyHUD fade sync option does not work with iHUD fast fade
- Permanent HMS meters option does not work with iHUD fast fade
3. SkyUILib
Known issues (will not fix):
- Scaling value for notification message is not respected
- Double notification glitch
Cause:
- SkyUILib injects a replacement notification swf not recognized by SkyHUD, because SkyHUD is weird like that. This is probably my fault because I know for a fact that the guy/guys responsible for SkyUILib is/are at least a million times better coder than I am
Suggested fix/workaround:
- Set notification scale to 0.0 — should effectively disables SkyHUD notification (untested, pure hypothesis)
- Move SkyHUD notification off-screen — should effectively disables SkyHUD notification (untested, pure hypothesis)
Known affected mods:
- Immersive Horses
- Any mod that uses SkyUILib
Notes:
- This is flagged as "will not fix" because my person is on Skyrim hiatus at the moment and is deemed unlikely to
return until the planets and stars align.
4. Floating Health Bars
Known issues:
- Enabling both mods causes CTD
Suggested fix/workaround:
- Move these files: floatingwidget.swf, hud_extension.swf, hud_extension_config.txt
- From "Data\Interface\Exported"
- To "Data\Interface"
Known affected mods:
- RaceMenu64
Notes:
- SkyHUD and Floating Health Bar can definitely work together. Users just have to make sure the files are in the correct folder.
- Floating Health Bar targets the vanilla hudmenu.gfx by default, which is located in "Data\Interface\Exported" folder
- Any custom HUD will use hudmenu.swf instead of hudmenu.gfx, and this is located in the main "Interface" folder. FHB therefore need to be redirected to the main "Interface" folder so it can find the custom HUD.
5. Archery Gameplay Overhaul
Known issues:
- (Based on user reports) Unexpected crosshair behaviour
Suggested fix/workaround:
- (Based on user reports) Disable Bow Crosshair setting in AGO [may induce side effects, please report]

Maybe Immersive creatures ? When conjuring spells from this mod I get double notifications.
Could be BBLS, or SLTOOLS Updated, both having Uilib files..
But it would be handy to target the mod, because otherwise I'll need to review +750 mods to chech their BSA and see if they do have UILIB files...
A real mess, this is really annoying tbh.
I wish someone would make a fix or a patch for skyhud
In case of double notifications, no matter how they come :
-Using immersive horses, download the immersive horses patch for skyhud, it will revert notifications to native
-using ah hotkeys, in configuration set alternative notification to enabled, and fix uilib experimental to enable
-using nether follower framework, disable the colored notifications
-using patched SE SL tools, that uses uilib, I have no fix for now, but didn't had any problem yet. If problems -> remove mod in new game
-using BBLS, no fix either, but no problem so far either. Unfortunately no option to set notifications to native with this mod.
There are probably other mods using skyulib, but at least with this post it will help you fix most of them.

But where i change that value? In sykud.txt there is no line like that. Ingame, there is no MCM for Skyhud, only Truehud(nordic UI user)
I'm super bored of trying to disable or hide uilib files... I need to remove the double message....Forever!
Couldn't find the notification scale either...
I'm having double messages when launching a conjuration spell only, but still annoying....
I'm also using NordicUI
There are position settings:

need to change the Y values
