"if i must speak, let me bitch" - the dragonborn, probably
About this image
Why is the Dragonborn so boring by default? Literally cannot stand it, my dudes. And like, yeah, there's Sarcastic Player Dialogue, but it makes you sound like some 40 year old Redditor who's spending our year of 2021 holed up in his mum's basement browsing incel forums, so like. Very unsexy. I like immersion and no slurs (especially not modern day slurs, we are in Tamriel not Bumfuck Nowhereville, Southern USA) in my Skyrim, thanks. So here I am, brute forcing my way through the CK tryna figure this BS out. What a nightmare.
Current goals are: give the Dragonborn some personality, keeping them a little on the asshole side, but not so much that they're obnoxious. They should be snarky, sarcastic, and occasionally mean, but more of a loveable teasing type towards certain chars - namely followers and characters who could be seen as 'friends', similar to the OG Khajiit Speak. Nice to kids because those little tag and hide and seek games you can play with them are cute. Rework certain lines so that, while they still make sense with the NPC dialogue, the player char doesn't seem so much like an amnesiac dumbass who got dropped into Tamriel last week. I'm sorry, but absolutely no one in this universe should be asking who Stendarr and Malacath are. What the hell. How are you gonna be the fucking Dragonborn, savior of the world, or like, the Archmage of the college of winterhold and not know who your own gods are. I cannot. Bethesda what the hell.
Pray for me gang. IDK what the hell I'm doing sobs

Since we're talking about dialogue, the one line that gets me the most is when an enemy is killed and an NPC - sometimes the very person who has just done said killing - says 'Oh, well, must have run off.'
