About this image

Miraak leaves Apocrypha while the LDB is within sovengard battling Alduin, but because time on nirn moves faster and isn't static like in the vanilla game, while the LDB is there within sovengard, Miraak takes over both the land of solsthime and skyrim so when Miraak arrives in skyrim he takes advantage of the civil war and bends the will of both the imperials and the stormecloaks as they become his new cultists and become the reformed dragon cult that serve Miraak, then he moves onto the dragons and bends them to his will, he corrupts the standing stones just as he did within Apocrypha with the earth stones when he has the people under his control as it's used to maintain his control over the population.

of course he has bigger plans than just skyrim and will eventually make plans to take over the rest of tamreal, however at this point he's in full control over skyrim and solsthime and plans to take cyradilil next.

if you pay attention, the kind of government that Miraak is building is very much like how the dragons ruled over the land within the merethic era, but the dragons didn't have the advantages of the bend will shout like Miraak does, so there is less likely that the people will resist and fight to over throw his control.

i also like the idea that Miraak has a greater understanding of the words of power as he was within Apocrypha for thousands of years, because you can believe he mastered the bend will shout to the point where the effects last longer and are tied to his influence with the standing stones scattered all around skyrim and solsthime with the earth stones.

the whole story where Hermaeus Mora not wanting Miraak to leave Apocrypha is not a plot being told or used here, instead Mora knows that what Miraak is doing is greatly spreading Mora's influence across the land as he wants to take over all of Nirn and is using Miraak as his tool to that end.

i mean remember the Oblivion crisis? now think of something similar to that on the scale that makes the people of the Nirn not understand that they are being invaded because their free will is being bended to the point where they are fine with it.

this would have been a much better story to tell for Miraak's plans outside of Apocrypha than what bethesda provided. and it would have made more sense that Miraak was a greater threat than we knew.

This is the plot of one of my fan fictions that i never really finished, but i wanted to share it with you fine folks to see what you think of it, and as always with my fan fiction stories, i try to stick closely to the lore as much as possible, and while doing so i might change some aspects that the games lore used to better fit the character in the story and to explain the story from a greater perspective.

this is more of a description of my fanfiction, i only used put this up because i want to know if anyone is interested in seeing me finish the story so i can release the better written version of it, if enough people are interested in it.

if not, then i guess it was a lost cause and nobody cares.
