Thank you, awful kind of you to say!  There's something about the basic design of a relatively low poly sim like Skyrim that is more intriguing and, for want of a better term, immersive than a more modern game with fancier graphics out the gate.  The designers had to do with perspective, scale, and coherent visual vocabulary what can be justified in a flashier title with high resolutions and high polygon counts alone.  I just can't get behind the impossible-to-light-well rubber-face people that games like CP 2077 make use of, or the profusion of visual filigree that serves as set design for a lot of modern titles.  Skyrim's got a pretty minimalist approach to the way the gameworld's spaces are constructed- which allows for mods that fill that space up, but also means that there are interesting things to look at from many different angles throughout the simulated space regardless of setup.  Bethesda is fantastic at this kind of old-fashioned set design; here's hoping their art department continues to build on those strengths.

Ha, I have never thought about that concept of design behind Skyrim! It sounds very logical from my perspective, also worth mentioning is Skyrims incredible ability to look vastly different depending on just a couple of key elements like ENB or weather mords. I cannot see thatt same effect in other heavily modded games, let alone less modded ones.
