   Where do you find out what mods will work and what dont?

      Texture mods should work most of the time.
      Mods that require SKSE or SkyUI dont work yet.
      For the rest, trial and error or looking at the original mod's page (I mean on the Skyrim Nexus)

      No ini tweaks.
      
      In my nvidia control panel though, what really made it smooth
      (I think) was :
      
      Setting V-Sync to 'Fast'
      Triple Buffering ON
      Performance mode : Single Display
      Maximum prerendered frames : 2
