Looks incredible. I'm guessing we won't be able to upgrade to this version on an existing save?

Will this updated Winterhold be in the Great Cities and Towns or will it be standalone?

This is pretty much precisely what I'm looking for. COTN Winterhold is just way too barebones for my tastes. It's a big castle with fuckall outside meanwhile Great Cities Winterhold before this update is already pretty expansive.

This picture gives me the "You're a Total Badass" vibe.

Gives me The Name of the Rose vibes. Beautifully eerie ! Even though I'm no expert but the overall setting from the movie is more on the classical side, yours more on the gothical one ? This looks dope anyway :)

Thanks! I get why people are calling it gothic but it's not really gothic.

I said so cause of the straight lines, height of the buildings and those gargoyle-like stone elements. How would you describe it ?

I get why people are saying it because of the verticality and the pointed arches. But the pointed arches here are not used in the same fashion. They're inspired by those big Nordic ruins arches you see in front of the dungeons in Skyrim. In gothic architecture pointed arches are used in windows, doorways, hallways etc to allow for light, slender and vertical construction. I'd say lightness is the most important aspect of Gothic architecture. Big stained glass windows that allow a lot of light to enter. But you won't find big windows in this Winterhold (except for the college which already exists).
