About this image

Been testing out how an edited version of JPSteel2's viking statue would look like as a Talos replacer.

It looks fantastic. Maybe replace the more rural statues of Talos with these wooden ones. The metal vanilla ones make sense if it's a major city that has a smithy and devout wealthy families that could fund it. But ultimately do as you want and envision.  It will turn out great.

It would be a bit too much work I'm afraid, to edit individual ones (atm at least) even though it's a cool idea. But what I can do easily is I leave the one in Windhelm untouched. The vanilla one is actually stone btw not metal. If it was metal the ones that were in the wilderness would probably have been corroded by weather or stolen for the precious metals. I always thought the vanilla one doesn't look anyhow ancient nordic like (more like the (roman) empire like) so that's why I tried this. also usually the very detailed stone statues from ancient times are made from marble which doesn't anyhow survive in minus degrees.

You're right. I misremembered that it was stone. Good work though!
