Got everything mostly ready to go. The berries actually vanish when harvested and the texture has been cleaned up.
Made a bark texture to go with SMIM. Unfortunately with the way the UV is set up on the SMIM mesh there are seams, but they don't stand out a lot in game unless you look for them.
Texture works with vanilla mesh, SMIM mesh, and wSkeever's 3D Juniper as well.
Just need to make all 1k and 2k versions, grab some pics, and get the mod page posted.
