About this image
Been experimenting with mods.
What is it with all the lighting/weather mods making everything blindingly bright and desaturated?
Tried ENBs to fix it, but just ended up with a hideous mess. Ended up just making a very simple one of my own to get the colour I wanted.
Anyway, thought it looked nice. So, here. Colours. Enjoy.

The light is nice, too. I myself found satisfaction, more or less, with a combination of Dolomite Weathers, Darker Nights in it's least dark settings along with the Darker Nights patch for Dolomite Weathers. The ENB that goes best with those (acording to my own taste, of course) is a toss-up between Firemanaf's Skyrim ReEngaged and his NVT For Natural Atmospheric Tamriel, with the slightest of preferences for the former.
Dolomite was the first weather mod I tried. It hurt my eyes with how bright and washed out the days were. I've also never cared for 'darker nights' as, if I can't see, I can't play, and have to wait until it's bright enough to see.
Move on to Vivid Weathers to get some colour in. Also bright, but not as bad, and did have more colour. I tried Re-Engaged with it, but given it turned my character's face into a monster with pitch-black eyebrows, I had to uninstall and just make my own basic preset.
I know your pain, the brightness problem is massive on some sunny/clear weathers.. it feels almost like there is just too much, well light.
I've managed to solve it for the most part now, at least outside in the day, but it really is an annoying issue. Even looking at screenshots of the various weather mods/ENBs makes me want to reach for some sunglasses.
