This model combines Robobirdie's Hyena mesh from 'New Creatures' with the striped hyena texture from Animallica. It also uses a custom skeleton to give it more of a hyena-like posture.

    Beautiful creature ! Looks somewhat like Hyenas of Skyrim(https://www.nexusmods.com/skyrimspecialedition/mods/23435/) from gg77. I think his mods are a pretty good source for you to consider, maybe you should take a look at his assets ?

      That's right, we both used Robobirdie's assets. gg77 has a keen eye for modder's resources and mods with open permissions. Indeed, I have used their mods to help pinpoint resources for personal projects. I was most surprised to see 'Beasts of Tamriel' assets like the great white in one of gg77's mods, and yes according to the original mod page, some of the assets from Beasts of Tamriel are free to use.

      Ah I see, actually @gg77 has a lot of good mods with nice models, but his textures really need more work for higher resolution to keep up the current standard, maybe he wants to rush at quantity rather than quality. For example in this case, your decision when you take textures from Animallica is a really good choice !

      gg77 is perfectly at liberty to release mods completely using modder's resources. I'm rubbish at making textures, so I like to shop around the Nexus for components for my own purposes. Once I start doing this, it is easy to wind up with something I can't release at all. Thankfully, in this instance, I can just release this is as an unofficial addon to 'Animallica'. It would just replace the vanilla model and skeleton with Robobirdie's model and my skeleton.
