Looks fantastic! Forgive this dumb question from an LE guy but am I correct that you are using these shaders instead of an ENB? Similar to how you use reshade on FO4 instead of ENB?

thanks a lot! not a dumb question at all! since i dropped enb three years ago i'm not aware that many use enb as an  essential addon. playing skyrim le enb was essential for me with its enboost feature as a vital memory enhancement. i used it also for water, shadow and ao enhancement because it was a must have and reshade was a long time not ready to replace essential enb features.
since se and fo4 i encountered that enb was also a main reason for performance issues and some other annoyances like additional stutter.
i started with a surprisingly huge fps gain and lower stutter not using enb while also encountering a loss of graphical fidelity.
to compensate this i intensified my research on reshade and it got better and better. in the meantime i even use a reshade ao solution (gloomao.fx), which works nicely combined with reasonable, low performance loss to replace any game or enb ao. many people are still not aware of this.
so yes - you both guessed right. i can use and test this community shader solution without any enb dependency and it is a big, positive surprise so i can recommend it to test.

Thanks for the information! As you said, my LE will need to continue to use ENB for the ENB memory enhancements. I am not sure when I will have time to start looking into using reshade for Fallout 4, but I have noticed some things where ENB seems to make things look worse instead of better. So... I may be bugging you for more information in the future, but I promise I will try to research using reshade myself first, before asking more questions.

these shaders work like magic. no light flickering and light source limitation using torches. no black grass or trees during night. smooth water seams and grass collision.

Good stuff. It really deepens and accents the shadows.

Wow! This is about RDR2, but same idea.

Are you referring to the Community Shader from this link? If so, it's a shame that it can't be used with ENB because it would crash the game.
I've never used that mod before, but it makes the grass look beautiful.

yes correct! if you are used to enb it will cost you some time and courage to experiment with this . for me it was an easy decision since i love my light weight reshade config if you like my images and some testing i think it is worth  to test it.
