Dear Joelle,

I hope you are well back in Daggerfall. I heard about the marriage of your daughter and wanted to offer you my congratulations. I heard some nice things about her husband, Tom if i remember correctly. I'll be sure to send them a special gift very soon in honor to their new union.

There is however something i wanted to speak to you about, a subject of a more sinister nature i'm afraid so.

It's about Viscount Henry Gromwood. Have you heard the news? It seems that him and his family have become missing. I have been waiting for the usual invitation to one of his Grand Masquerade gatherings but didn't receive any. At first i thought that he didn't invite me out of something i might have said or done to offend him or something. But then i spoke to Farhad and Jeanie and they too haven't received their usual invitation. I've now learned that no one received their invitations, not a single one at all. How odd.
He doesn't seem to respond to any letters anymore, not even Martha or their children. It seems that no one is in direct contact with them.

However there are very concerning rumors about Henry and his Estate. Apparently his mansion have become abandoned, or that it looks like it.
Do you remember Draylam? That eccentric Dunmer you met back at the last Grand Masquerade, he is the one that travels alot and told us all of these funny stories while eating his giant sweetroll, a charming fellow. He went to go check it out himself all the way back to Skyrim. I received a letter from him saying that he did arrive in Skyrim and that he was not far from Gromwood Manor and was about to check it out. He said that he'd quickly send another letter to tell us what happened before heading back home. Well this has been three weeks ago and Draylam hasn't responded. I pray nothing bad happened to him.

What are the news about Henry back in Daggerfall? Is there anything that could explain what is happening?

As you know me well, I have always been very optimistic in anything and everything. But i have to admit that this matter with the Gromwood have me on edge, I have a very bad feeling. There's something very odd about all of this, i don't like it.
