A good start is to get Freeflycam which can allow you to rotate camera and zoom when you're in tfc mode (type in console, basically allows you to move camera around without character moving) and probably learn how to install and use pose packs too, can make a pretty big difference in how pics look :)
And it has all sort of animations and poses from the vanilla game that u can use.
