What a pleasant surprise. I was visiting Darkwater crossing for a quest to help Adrianna. Then I was supposed to take a walk with Lydia in the nearby scenery, when a dragon appeared. Turns out, the dragon was not attacking me - he was attacking a bandit and a merchant. 

Due to shock, I wasn't able to record the events quickly, but near the end of their skirmish the Bandit suddenly killed the merchant. Then the dragon kills the bandit. 

Anyway, because of this I got the merchant's horse.

However since it is stolen, after I slept, the following morning it was gone. :(
