Did anyone else find this boss really hard? I mean with companions it's easy because they don't worry about damage negation at all, but alone you may have to run around and around the coffin taking potshots at the guy until he finally drops dead. Maybe that's because I waited until lvl 14 or so to do it, but it's a sharp challenge rise compared to the rest of the lowly mob in the dungeon up until that point. I wonder why that is?
Also I need to post this somewhere on the internet or I'll explode: The Team that made Enderal, SureAI, has finally announced Beta testing for the German Version of the Forgotten Stories DLC for Enderal! I am so happy! The English one will in the future be made available
You are right though. While doing the screen shots for this was it was a difficult fight. Bear in mind I was level 2 (because I'd neglected to level up) and for continuity of story, I had her in gear that she'd got at the start of the game. This meant that Uncle Fester could just about "one shot me" with that sword of his (which has frost damage). Faendal was no help. He'd try archery from behind a rock (and nearly got a cartoon dedicated to him being a coward.). .I confess to several reloads for this fight.
Which is why my last character didn't even leave Whiterun Hold until I had become a legendary artisan. The trick was to kill every deer, goat, fox, rabbit and crab within a 10 mile radius of the city with a soul-stealer bow or crossbow (added in by mod of course). It also helps if you have a mod that lets you break down soul gems so you have all the petty soul gems you want.
Glad you were able to pull off this battle regardless of the reloads, because using only base equipment is like trying to fight with sticks and harsh language. You're basically trying to hurt their feelings enough that they lose the will to live (or unlive as in this case).
As for future battles? You need a Training Montage!
EDIT: we need a ENDORSE ALL function too!!
Spit my coffee out on that one! Funny stuff. I love how take just the little key pieces of this to develop her "personality. Still thinking of the fish kill in the Riverwood stream....still cracking up!
Always nice to see you bob in with a comment. Just making the video for this one and having fun with sound effects.
