I know that Barbie Doge and both Touh87 dogs are made out of this mesh. I also know that both of them have their own converted skeletons and bones. I cannot get this crap to work. If someone would just convert a regular Dogmeat to Skyrim, I could just copy all the bone weights from it. Outfit studio is aware that the model is from FO4 and tells me that to export it to FBX then Reimport it to convert to SSE, but that does not copy the bones, nor the textures, nor any relevant data, so that method is useless. I could load the whole thing in Blender, but then I cannot seem to get that to export it with the bones still attached. Hell, I cannot get Blender to export a nif at all, so I always send it out as an obj and then convert it in OutfitStudio. Is there no program that will just convert FO4 to SSE? I tried copying the bones from the touh87 dogs, but there is some serious jankiness, like dogmeat turns his head, and his teeth stay put and stretch to the mouth, so I painted some extra weight on the teeth, and that turned it into pure nightmare fuel. There must be an easy way to do this, since so many people have used dogmeat as a starting place for making custom dogs. Or there is no easy way and those people are modelling Gods. How do I get this to work?
